CORRECTIONS, thanks to those reporting these!
– Inner Circle Task force is all objective markers you don't control, not just ones under enemy control. A bit better than I said!
– Exalted Sorcerer got a buff to 105pts from 115 (I misread versus the off-disc version I think)
– Necrons lost Tomb Sentinels, Tomb Stalkers + Acanthrites to Legends
– Chapters with unit restrictions can't use them in core-codex detachments, so no Black Templar Librarians in Gladius etc.
They could of at least given kult of speed or da big hunt some sort of small buff. If for nothing else but to get them more included in tournaments
I hope to Christ that games workshop will keep 10th edition open for longer than the normal three year turnover because I only just started getting into Warhammer 40 K at the end of ninth edition, and keeping up with all of these rules changes while learning to paint means that if 11th edition comes out in two years I may as well give up!
Great, so now half of the game's rules can only be found in a PDF file and fully all printed rulebooks and codexes can go in the bin. Honestly 10th edition needs to be put down ASAP.

Auric Champions I think that you must choose a ENEMY unit ad the beginning of a command phase, and all custodes units with a Character have +1 to wounds against the marked unit, right?
Look how they massacred my boy. My beautiful storm raven gunship and iron storm detachment. I had so many good ideas and strategies for it
was hoping the pivot rules meant we were getting some movement changes to aircraft so they could pivot again instead of only moving forward, but no, fliers still stuck.
Those divergent assholes need to have different point values than compliant chapters. We stay getting fucked because their marysue rules make normal dudes too strong.
How does the new CP modification/multiple use of stratagems work with Guilliman?
Also, the Dev Wound change was an indirect nerf to C’tan halving damage. Now that it’s all mortal wounds it can’t be halved, so that’s more FNP’s they’re gonna have to make ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Deathguard caught a huge nerf with the indirect change AND unlike guard we didn’t get any points cost reduction to the PBC. Plus, the indirect nerf basically eliminates half of the LoV ability and makes the boil light stratagem much worse. Also no more double grenade, and it’s increase to best characters… all because the army was what around 50% win rate?
Necrons Night Scythe got Deep Strike, will be big in Hypercrypt. Since it can hit the table turn one and can pull infantry back into it

I think you misread how the Auric champion change works. Its not one super powerful custodes char unit, its one super vulnerable enemy unit to ALL custodes char units. So in theory, could have 3 squads of allarus led by cap all shooting at one big target and melting it. Incoming the new 21 Gun Salute (21 allarus lol)

At this rate, codices are useless. GW should sell digital codexes at maybe $40, because your codex is only for lore and pretty pictures at this point now anyway.

With these extra nerfs to indirect fire was it really necessary to increase exorcists to 190 points from 160?
Can someone explain to me why a Battle Sister Squad and a Dominion squad are the same points cost?
Previously BSS were used to farm miracle dice which is now moved to the Simulacrum Imperialis which both squads can take, BSS got sticky objectives instead. So in exchange for sticky objectives and the ability to take one heavy weapon Dominions get 4 special weapons and assault on all their weapons (irrespective of detachment) plus scout 6", why are they the same? Also…what the HELL made Zephyrim worth 50% more, did their base offensive stats get improved?
And the next nerf to Eldar, great…. Whipping boys of the game.
The thing about Drukhari is, while I have been out of game between 5th and 9th editions, Hellions have always been trash tier.
GW has never given them either sufficient punch, sufficient durability or low enough points cost to ever see any actual use. Given that their claim to fame is the stick against which all badness is measured it's time to just throw in the towel and retire this unit after nearly 20 years of futility.

Does the daring recon ability from scout sentenels allow indirect fire weapons to hit on 3s and 2s? Since it says removing (the) penalty to indirect fire weapons from shooting (that) unit. I ASK Because as written there are 3 penalties to indirect fire including: -1 to hit, (unmodified 1,2, 3) dont hit, and provide benefit of cover to defending unit. So is "the penalty" defined as 1,2, or all 3 of these???
What is worse, GW decisions, or the hero wars commercials we are force to watch the first five seconds of?
Absolute BS what they did to Meganobz. Same goes for invuln on Greentide. 6++ is useless a d means more time rolling and counting Unit size.

Great content as usual. As a CD and Ork main my CD are very happy, and my Orks are a little sad 😢. Meganobz nerf was expected but I feel they over corrected. 40pt meganobz are stat wize worse and do way less damage unbuffed than regular termies which are now cheaper. Their pt cost is now close to custodes. They basically won't be seen now competitively outside bully boyz, and even there you're have better choices. That said I would be happy for gw to keep them at 40 if they were made probably killy. 40pts for 2 attacks hitting on +4 is best described as grotty.

I might be wrong, since I'm new to warhammer, but I think nemesis dreads and gm in nemesis dread for greyknights got a weaponskill buff to both the hammer and sword, which makes it look like they were just buffed slightly imo. However I haven't heard anyone mention this, so I think I might be wrong.
Having no expectations guarantees no disappointment… Most SM's units were ignored again. Time to focus on Kill Team, it's much better than 40k at this point and doesn't waste your time 🍺

Question. If the rules state a stratagem “can never be modified below 0CP” and the new rules reduce the cost by 1 cp wouldn’t that imply that a 1 cost can in fact be modified to 0 cause it’s not exceeding the value of 0?
Ive decided i dont like this game anymore. Constant changes in a game requiring real money is stupid. Especially when they dont seem to have any real idea what they are doing.
GW should just employ YouTubers like Auspex to write the balance dataslates.
Am I missing something that Knights still have to fallback from being in melee and don’t get to shoot if they do so? Yes you can fire while in melee but at -1 and with the limited actions on the heavy costed large frames every shot/action has to get value.
my necron list took a massive hit man,i had 3 doomstalkers and 3 squads of 6 wraiths,have to figure out what do,think i need to drop a doomstalker,im 120 over 2000 rn
