mega man L take i think its B tier
Here to real quick defend Meta Knight a tiny bit, at least his Final Smash does draw from the games and in this case Kirby Star Allies as he has a near identical move in that game he usues in the Boss Fight haha.
I can't put the Mega Man one any higher than any of the other cutscene teamups like the DQ heroes or Shulk's team, but that's just my taste I guess.

Link's Ancient Arrow isn't even functionally the same as Zelda's Light Arrow, since Link's just explodes on contact rather than hitting foes behind.

FighterZ supers when
The supers are all pretty good but I'm sad they replaced all the install supers with cut scene ones.
27:39 I think it’s so sick that if you win a match with this final smash as the last hit on an over 100% opponent, it lingers on the last frame of the attack for the victory screen instead of cutting back to the gameplay.
Also my top 5 is pretty much the same as yours, except I’d put mii brawler up there ahead of K. Rool. Yeah, it’s a mii, but that mii has one of the most visceral supers in the game, and I honestly respect whoever’s decision it was to go that hard with it XD

for the actual final smash my top 5 would be
1. Dedede, we finally got the masked dedede fight referenced with it, also dedede is my favorite character
2. Yoshi stampede, works as a reference for the opening for melee but also works as a just brutal final smash
3. K.rool's is just good, the reference makes perfect sense and being able to see the fighters actually on the island is really funny
4. this is my controversial pick but i really love palu's because it just straight up references an incredibly cheesy strat used in kid icarus uprising's pvp mode with the 2 spells she uses
5. Kirby, return to dreamland is my favorite game and the attack itself references the final boss from it. my only gripe with it is that they didn't have kirby change to different weapons while doing it like he does in the base game
Functionality wise
1.Zelda objectively has the best final smash
2. Peach and daisy giving heals and putting enemies to sleep is incredibly broken
3. Rob. completely invincible and the beams help line up the beam, definitely better than brawl and smash for's final smashes though
4. Bayonetta, witch time is already broken but top that with being able to still do a cinematic attack and it's absolutely busted
5. Ness/Lucas. PK star storm can completely shut out certain characters and characters with relatively predictable disadvantage have a hard time with it, more often than not a guaranteed stock

Aside from Mega Man and Cloud. Every S is nearly all villains. LOL
Also, I agree that a Brawl tier list should be done, just cause of the Old Animations and the fact you can control some of them and the impact feels different then cutscenes ones.
