Representatives from HTK Architects and Navigate Building Solutions shared an update on the Mark Twain Elementary School renovation project during an informational meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 1.
The presentation included an overview of the project’s design and budget history, as well as a preview of the preliminary site plan and design renderings. District administrators were also on hand to discuss how rising costs and labor shortages have impacted the project budget.
The presentation panel answered questions from attendees on a variety of topics, including safety and security, equitable educational opportunities and preserving the historic aspects of the current Mark Twain building and campus.
