  1. This whole game was a treat, The intro, IDLE's story, The unification of Ice and Fire people, Bowser's interception, and the Rise of Reclusa.

Acquire Corp. (Makers of this game, which tells you at the end credits) put a LOT of heart and soul into this, ti bring the series back. (Something IGN will never understand,) and they have honored, and stayed true (to the best of their extent) of what Alphadream has done, before they closed down. Even with all the easter eggs, being a more nod to all the previous adventures (especially through the reefs) which makes teh game a wholesome shed of nostalgia, for all the old players.

All in all, I say this game, (while does haas its issues, like any other game) is anything but a 5/10 i say this game is 9/10 9.5 even.

The characters, the story, the theme, the plot, all of it, is something worth while for anyone

  4. Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a Kirby game. The bright colours and cute characters are there to lull you into a false sense of security, so the darkness hits with the force of a meteor. Not only that, but the finale is this over the top yet satisfying and amazing spectacle.

  5. I’m SO happy that you kept up with playing and uploading this game. I’ve grown up with these Mario and Luigi games and I’d always watch your playthroughs specifically. In fact, I became a fan of you after watching the Let’s Play of Paper Jam. Thanks for coming back for this game ❤

  6. Congrats on beating the game, it was a great series! Now, open the autosave file and say goodbye to the NPCs on the Shipshape Island, especially on the beach! Then you can watch the ending once again and pay more attention to what's happening during the credits 🙂 Also, it's funny how you kept calling the Uni-Tree the Soli-Tree just because it got bigger xD The Soli-Tree was the name of Reclusa's tree/base specifically (y'know, as in "solitary", get it?).

  7. Just in case some didn't get the one last pun with the trees.

    Uni means one
    Soli means alone

So I like to think of it as the Soli-tree ( I've been pronouncing the first part much like as in the word solitary ) is now the one tree, as it is no longer alone.

  8. Reclusa is dead now, the egg thing was when he successfully wiped out a world with those flowers, he'd eventually get tired and go back into the egg to gather Glohm and rehatch somewhere else. Nobody defeated him in any of those worlds, here he actually got destroyed so there is no egg to return to.

(that said, I still don't think that should stop him from popping up in the next Mario Kart, I hate how those games totally ignore the batshit insane stuff from the RPGs)

  9. I'm so glad that you made this a series. I grew up watching you and following your gameplays when I play the M&L games, as if I was playing with you. Thank you for bringing back the tradition of the M&L games. This game was a blast

  10. This game was an absolute treat! Everything about it was perfect. The art style, the combat, the story, the characters and villains, everything. I like the use of the Luigi Logic in battle. It gave a sense of what goes on in the background and how you can interact with it. My favorite areas of the game were Heatfreeze Island, Wayaway Island/ Bowser's Castle, and Fortress Zokket/ The Soli-Tree. The final battle was nothing I've ever seen in a Mario and Luigi game before. It was epic and it just kept going until Reclusa tried to do one last attack to finish off the bros before getting his face smashed with the bro. Hammers. I found Snoutlet to be a really good companion almost up there with Starlow but not quite. The ending was good but a little sad. When you were talking about the game, I saw Snoutlet shed a tear and it made me a little emotional because he's probably like "What the heck, bro? We spent over 50 hours together and now you're leaving? Well, I guess this is goodbye.Thank you for helping us.😢" Overall, this is a fantastic game. My only pet peeve with this game is that Nintendo lately has the tendency to hold your hand a lot when it comes to these new games. But overall it's very close up there with Partners in time and Bowser's Inside Story. I give this game a 9.25 out of 10. Thank you, Sully for this once in a lifetime experience. I do believe that the Mario and Luigi series has kept its purpose in the Mario franchise and is not dead yet and still has potential for a sequel or another game! I can't wait to get this game so I can play it myself! Thank you for playing it and letting me enjoy the experience! ❤️✌️

  11. Even though this game took like 40+ hours to beat, it still feel like it went by so fast! Regardless, it was quite the experience. From the insane hype I had when it was first revealed, to that lovely conclusion.

Admittedly it ain't the perfect game, but it's still definitely a Mario and Luigi game. An honest-to-goodness rpg whose world and gameplay I got totally invested in. The best part here is the series is officially alive again! I don't know when the next game will be, but believe me I will be waiting for it with anticipation.

And finally, thanks Sully for playing through the game! This is actually the first time I watched your vids, but I really did enjoy your editing and commentary on the series. I'm curious to see what your next project will be, and until then, you have a good one!

  12. This game was a blessing, and it was a blessing to watch you play a Mario and Luigi Game for old times sake. It makes me terribly sad to see it end, but here’s to a future of Mario and Luigi games!
