  1. Ford has a reputation of letting great drivers get away ,Jeff Gordon,Kyle Larson, and now Zane Smith. Ford needs someone over their racing division who gives a crap. Why are they not figuring out what's going on with SHR,Penske, and Wood Brothers. Thankfully Brad went to Rousch. Enjoy you show thanks

  2. Everyone seems to have a favourite and least favourite driver. I always have had one of each.

    My favourites through the years:
    Casey Atwood
    Michael Waltrip
    Ryan Newman
    Ross Chastain

My least favourite through the years:
    Jeremy Mayfield
    Jimmie Johnson
    Kevin Harvick

  3. "what Ford prospect has the highest upside & lowest floor" : the answer is one in the same. Hailie Deegan. If she has any kind of success: she will instantly turn up on every Ford commercial & main stream sports media we see & if she continues down her current path of mediocre, she will fall to a lost memory.

  4. I think Ford an Chevy don’t need a development program simply because right now Toyota is developing so many more young drivers then they have seats to fill in the Cup series. All the other manufacturers have to do is wait for these young talents to get high enough in the ranks to where they hit that roadblock with the number of seats and then swoop in and steal them from themselves. Examples of this already happening include Harrison Burton, Chandler Smith, William Byron, Noah Gragson, and Ryan Preece.

  5. Custer is the best option. I think he is a cup caliber driver who kind of got the raw end of the deal. SHR is obviously not where they were and it shows because Preece hasn’t done anything better than him in that car. (Preece is also a deserving driver I just don’t know how much better he really is than Cole.)

  6. Cole Custer experience putts him at the top of my list but Halie Deegan would be my next pick. I still think she has potential in the right car with the right team and she would be great with fans and for NASCAR

  7. If I were a sponsor on Denny’s car, I’d be very concerned about the hostility he generates. I wonder if M&M’s decision last year was motivated in part by the bad PR that Busch generated. Candy is a feel good purchase. Not helped by boos.

  8. It doesn’t matter if he’s fast the next 7 races, all it takes it’s a loose wheel, corded tire, lappers wrecking, or something stupid like that to happen at Phoenix and he’s out. Of course, that goes for everyone. This is why this championship format sucks. Yes, it’s dramatic. Yes, it’s unpredictable. But that’s why it sucks. The most deserving driver may not get the chip. The Iceberg has done the Winston cup style points all season, and the top 6 are all separated by like 100 points. 1st and 2nd separated by 1 point. This is what points racing should be.

  9. Problem with Ben Rhodes and Ty Majeski is that they aren't "prospects", they're just good drivers. Ben Rhodes will be a Truck lifer just like his teammate Matt Crafton, and while Ty Majeski is definitely worth a shot in Xfinity, he doesn't have any known personal sponsorship and tbh I don't think he's on Ford's radar. Ford btw also lost Taylor Gray (not to be confused with Tanner, who is mediocre at best) as a prospect when DGR switched to Toyota, so that was another big blow. They need to start scouting, in ARCA, CARS and series like it and really start rebuilding their farm system. This will not be fixed overnight.

  10. I think the situation will become clear when Shane van Gisbergen starts full time racing. I suggest we wait until then and then see who will stay and who will go when it comes to Trackhouse. That would be a driver Ford would have to munch. That or if someone leaves Hendrick come 2025 or 2026 could be munched. Otherwise, Justin Haley is a good addition, I hope to see him in the 10 car. Let's not forget he's moving to Ford.

  11. I could honestly see Ford looking at a new team in cup and SHR may look at going back to Chevy with legacy going to Toyota. Then possibly look at JR and SHR combining in Xfinity. That would feed SHR top quality drivers again coming up and you could possibly even say they could become partners with KBM in the trucks. At that point Ford would basically be cup series equipment but i mean at this point Ford isn't willing to work with any top drivers cause of "personal image" issues. I love my ford trucks but the company has went woke and it's showing in the programs they support or fund.
