3ds Rainbow Road is my all time favorite track so I’m very happy to just here and of course it’s my favorite wave 3 track and my favorite track of the booster pass and of all of MarioKart 8
My favorite tracks are definitely London Loop, Rock Rock Mountain, Maple Treeway, Berlin Byways, Merry Mountain, and at the top of that list: 3DS Rainbow Road!
It’s weird they didn’t put Tour next to Merry Mountain, that track was added to Mario Kart Tour two years ago, long before they announced this DLC. They did the same thing with Ninja Hideaway and Sky High Sundae.
I’m really hoping for Wii Rainbow road in one of these waves.
New York Minute is considered an American track on Mario Kart Tour.

If you do 150cc and get 1st place in each race, then you get get credit for completing 100cc and 50cc. So at a minimum, you need to complete 150, Mirror and 200cc at first place for full credit.
I wish I had the DLC Booster pack.

7:39 I think it was the invincibility frames from the banana, not the ramp that allowed you to not get blasted by the blue shell.
I think I can understand why some of the "tour" tracks aren't said to be tour tracks in the dlc.
in wave 1 we had ninja hideaway which is a tour track
In wave 2 sky high sundae which is indeed a new track so thats not related to this
In wave 3 we got merry mountain which was in tour
The reason these are not considered "tour" tracks is cause they're not city maps.
I forget if new York minute had a label so if it doesn't then my whole theory is wrong

Merry Mountain has to be my favourite track in the game with Sydney Sprint. It has such a magical feel to it! 🎄 🎁

The reverse lap and peaches garden was amazing
They ported some pretty decent tour tracks! i can’t believe the music is ported as well but i’m glad we finally got a decent cup from tour. I’m surprised that rainbow road was even made on tour since these tracks were meant to be on mobile devices
7:37 You actually dodged the Blue Shell with your invincibility from the banana! I know there was some time between it, but the invincibility frames in this game are really generous
I know how much you loved Mario Kart 3DS but I wanted to say I appreciate how you didn’t get all whiny and upset that they made changes to 3DS Rainbow Road or some of the other tracks that were in it. I’ve seen so many throw a fit because they dared change anything for MK8. It’s refreshing to see someone not get all upset just because a track isn’t exactly like it was in another game.

5:10 Actually, no, otherwise that would screw up Time Trial records and such, because there are 5 speed & handling stats
The stats are:
Ground Speed/Handling, self-explanatory;
Air Speed/Handling, used for when you're gliding;
Anti-Gravity Speed/Handling, used for anti-gravity sections;
Underwater Speed/Handling, used when you're underwater; and lastly,
Off-Road Speed/Handling, self-explanatory.
If Nintendo were to add anti-gravity/glider parts into already existing tracks, it could mess up Time Trial world records and give previous records an advantage/disadvantage, and Nintendo would have to delete all previous records. This goes for basically every track in the game, but correct me if I'm wrong.
