  1. I was there at the tournament today. Once Michelsen won the first set, he loosened up and started playing with the swag of knowing he’s playing with the house’s money. You could just tell he was not going to let go of that break of serve once he got it. Absolutely phenomenal stuff and great poise. Instant fan of this young man.

  2. It’s a meme at this point to get ur hopes up about yet another “young American prospect”…but I’m really liking what I’m seeing from Michelsen. Hopefully this goes somewhere cause I distinctly remember saying the same thing about Shelton around this time last summer lol

  3. Mannarino está descubriendo el estilo de juego de Djokovic: ser un pasa bolas y dejar que el otro se equivoque. Sólo que está exagerando en mandar todo tan al centro.

  4. Mannarino has been one of my favorite players for years. I just like how he doesn’t have to produce a lot of power himself to beat more powerful players. I also like how he redirects the ball all over the court, with low groundies. The opponents have to hit up alot, and risk hitting the net or going long. Predictions for the final?

  5. Mannarino is a gentleman, like players in the 1930s or 1940s. Focus, fight, smart play. I like thousand times more to watch he playing than guys like Kyrgios. Kyrgios with Mannarino’s attitude would be perhaps number 1 in the world, but this would never happen.

  6. Humbert: massive forehand; AAAAAAH, massive backhand; AAAAAAAH, dink slice backhand; AAAAAAH, easy volley at the net; AAAAAAAH. What the hell? And he only started doing when he started losing badly. Congrats Mannarino!
