Malebolgia is respected and feared as one of the rulers of Hell, and thus the de facto grandmaster of Hell. His powers include Necro Energies like raising the dead, matter manipulation, super strength, recuperative abilities, and abilities to morph and induce hallucinations.

Magic: Malebolgia granted Albert Simmons his magic when he became a hellspawn. He can recharge and take other’s magic away at will.
Telepathy: Uses this to read his victims minds to see how they tick.

Regeneration: Can control from almost anything besides the head.
Shape-shifting: He can shape-shift easily into any form.
Superhuman Strength: Very strong, knocked Spawn around during their battle.

Deception: Very deceptive in his plans, he managed to fool Al Simmons into servitude despite showing his true form. Then used his every move Al made as a way to build up his army.
