  1. Great video! I had no idea that the summoner exploit wasn't as efficient in lower sentinel worlds. I hope at some point there'll be a way to get quicksilver a bit faster than grinding through the daily missions

  2. I’m so glad you tested the larval cores and other items from a pirate system. I stumbled on that myself and thought it could be a decent way to build nanites, even though it’s expensive. I also figured it wasn’t as efficient, but worth doing when you roll into a pirate system still. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. Beebs, @ 1:55 You can jump between Outlaw stations. The ones marked with the Big Red Skull are 'Normal' stations that you cannot jump to, but the Outlaw stations are the ones marked with a Little White Skull at the bottom, and you can jump between these. I have no idea why HG decided to make it confusing.

  4. was lucky enough to find a planet in a system that contained runaway mould in my second warp of a newly started save on a harder difficulty setting so my nanite starting farm is a huge help ^^

  5. Nice video 🙂

I'm a little surprised you don't have "Fungal Mould farming into Delicious Vegetable Stew" as an option. By my calculations in the past, with an array of nutrient processors, I believe it comes in at about 45.1 seconds per 150 nanites. Which would make it a great option for players lacking the cash (or the nanite expensive shields and weapons to fight sentinels).
Main drawback being the tedium of selling them to Cronos, and less fun than shooting up the baddies.
Good option for the passive folks though.

  6. I'm glad the sentinel hunting is the most efficient as its also the most fun in my personal opinion. It would be cool if hello games boosted the worm harvest rates as thats also a fun challenge, maybe also make them drop a special upgrade module that we can sell for nanites.

  7. The thing thats gets me with this exploration game and a relaxed way to play everyone wants to know how to get units/nanites/everything as fast as possible what people need to realize its a sandbox game get them as fast as you play everyone is missing the point of the game play how you want its up to you how you play it if you rush everything you will be bored after 50hrs of play just enjoy it and enjoy it all if you speed run everything to get to end game there is nothing but building and unless you now how to glitch build the game gets old fast
things ive learnt from any sandbx game never RUSH!

  8. Lowest Effort (but not fastest) for me
I grow mordite on my freighter, cook it into meat flakes, meat chunks, and finally mystery meat stew
then go the the Anomaly and feed them all to Cronus, using a AFK Macro, leave the game running for an hour to feed him…
technically still 'honest' just relies on an autopilot

and again, takes huge Time, but Low Effort.

  9. Good guide. For me, it's all about knowing how to get the nanites then do using each method that applies to what I'm currently working on.

Atm, I'm progressing to the core of my current galaxy and I have a couple Derelicts that I do once a day for an S class module and a bulkhead. I get about 6k nanites from the two derelicts then as I jump to the core, I'll hit up pirate stations or 3* economies buying up hadal cores, larval cores, hypnotic eyes, contraband, living slime and (the crap that living slime turns into). In 3* systems I'll buy up all the trade goods, both at the station and on my freighter, then make the next system I go to the right type to sell the trade goods at be it pirate or another 3*. I'll also pick up any passive missions or do missions that reward me a bulkhead or starship storage augmentation. If I land on a planet, I'll attempt to scan all the critters and scan as much as possible, maybe take out a sentinel pillar first if it has aggressive sentinels or just kill waves of them if I'm in the mood.

I'll do some daily Nexus missions periodically to keep them from capping and rotate my frigate missions while my living slime refines and craft up fusion ignitors and stasis devices as I get the parts just to keep my inventory clean. Geodesite and Iridesite, and their respective parts, come regularly enough that I even squeeze in a bit of platinum refining periodically and I'll refine pugneum if I get a full stack. In both cases I return the leftovers to my running stacks.

I make about 20k nanites a day just doing things along the way and plenty of units. My base set up also gives me enough materials to make 20 fusion ignitors and 20 stasis devices as well as around 500k activated indium, plus they're set up with a trading rotation in mind. I take home over 1.5 billion units per run and only have to do it when I want some cash.
