  1. There is so much to say about how beautiful and passioned the whole team that made this masterpiece of a game is that I don't even know what to start with. The o.s.t , the lore they remind me of Miyazaki Hayao and Hisaishi Joe's teamwork. Love , Peace and Happiness to everyone !

  2. When I cleared BoTW and heard its theme, it was like hearing the story itself. Every moments could be remembered. ToTK is no different. The music seems to intertwine between time… just like the story. You can just imagine Link's adventure listening to this. This song gave me chills, like BoTW's. Very good OST for sure.

  3. To all the people saying “TOTK should get game of the year!” …Why? It doesn’t do anything better than BOTW, and in fact does most things worse. The first thing I noticed in my own playthrough; quick swapping is slower than in BOTW. It hovers for a moment in the menu before it closes, and that makes it feel sluggish compared to the instant swaps previously. Second; the tutorial section is WAY TOO LONG. I was sprinting as much as I could, and it still took 2 hours. Compared to the 45 minutes in BOTW

I can go on and on about everything TOTK does objectively worse than BOTW, and I in fact have with somebody who got the game earlier than I did and agrees. Recency bias and the fact that you can make war machines with Ultrahand and Zonai devices is my guess for why people prefer TOTK

  4. god the allegro giocoso playing of the erhu has been stuck in my head for days, i’m so happy they embraced usage of saxophone and for trailer 3 for instance the composition let the performers cut loose and play with intensity.

  5. (Spoilers) An interesting I've noticed is that the main instrument played for the dragon theme in BOTW is the erhu. And now in TOTK, Zelda's lullaby is also played with an erhu to likely indicate her transformation into an immortal dragon.
