This song plays in the Main Menu of God of War 3. It is a slower version of Rage of Sparta, incorporating the main Kratos’ theme from God of War 1.

The in-game implementation of this track plays the song twice. First with a calmer start and less brass. Second (starting at 1:43) with a more intense start and full brass.

Also plays in the PS4/PS5 UI before starting the game.

  1. The channel GameMusicVez, which had uploaded a great number of God of War and other games soundtrack, has for some reason shut down. My playlists included many of their videos and therefore are now incomplete. I will start reuploading the tracks myself in the next days.

  13. The developers were holding this Kratos back during his fight with Thor and Odin. 😫 Like seriously, how far/deep did they store his power/rage/strength??!! If you've never played the older GOW, NO worries. Watch Youtube walkthrough for all the GOW games and you'll see what I mean by holding back strength.

I hope in the next game something happens to Atreus and some god poisons him or something and not so he dies but so it’s like he’s going to die and kratos goes on a rampage and stops holding back and like half the game is you running around like young kratos killing everything in sight and wanting to kill the god that poisoned him but at the end when kratos is about to kill the god you get to become Atreus and you travel to the place where kratos is fighting the god with freya and there’s no enemies and you just go through the path of destruction made by kratos and once you get there the god is about to be killed but Atreus says we have to be better or something and kratos reverts back but before they could walk away the god powers up and you freya and Atreus have to fight together since kratos pulled his punches again and this music plays in the background while your playing as enraged kratos and then that music gets like the music at Poseidons death when your about to kill him
