What is a Fly on the Wall series, you ask?

The “Acrylic Painting Story Time” series on my YouTube channel offers viewers a unique opportunity to observe the creative process of a professional artist at work. In this series, Ginger Cook, an accomplished acrylic artist with over 50 years of experience, opens the doors to her studio, allowing art enthusiasts to experience what it’s like to be a ‘fly on the wall’ during her painting sessions. These sessions feature Ginger crafting original artworks, providing a raw and unfiltered glimpse into the meticulous creation of a painting from start to finish. Each session lasts as long as the artist’s inspiration and endurance hold for the day, with a single painting possibly spanning 3 to 4 days. Exclusive to Academy members, these pieces of art are a special gift for those who have shown their support by signing up or renewing their memberships for one, two, or three years before January 1, 2024. Please note that all paintings in this series are copyrighted and are not authorized for reproduction, preserving the uniqueness of each piece for the lucky recipients.

Please subscribe to this channel to show your support and stay informed about new releases and live broadcasts. Be sure to TURN ON the alarm bell.

Being the GOLD STANDARD in acrylic painting tutorials, Ginger Cook will be exploring the Fine Art of Acrylic Painting by offering tips and tricks to help you with your own acrylic paintings.

  1. Wow, you have done similar paintings but this looks so nuanced it could be in a museum, really sets a mood. Thank you for this storytime while painting. We appreciate you could just listen to music while you paint. Thank you for bringing us with you and the STORIES. Ginger, Jon, Mods, and team

  2. You have an amazing memory! I enjoy both the stories and the painting. I myself have issues with mail. Much of my first class mail never being received. Birthday cards and holiday cards especially and it drives me crazy. Cousin Caroline “could” have shared the money if she wanted. Would have been the right thing. 😀

  3. I understand how long it takes. I started painting in February of 2023. Almost 1 year.
I immediately realized to get a decent outcome it requires time and an exceeding amount of patience.
I have thrown approximately 4 in thrash and didn't even attempt to finish or improve. Frustration is another thing. Preserverance works.
I look at it this way it's great therapy and teaches me patience.

Most know today patience is important, so many things and people we deal with. Lol

Just found you guys and your daughter Cinnamon. Love both of you guys. Fantastic mom and daughter team.
I like that. Obviously you taught Cinnamon how to paint as a youth. That's special.
    Keep up the fantastic work.

  6. So I’m listening to your conversation as I one more time makes stuffed mushrooms for a gathering, not really following your painting today. But I’m listening and I’m thinking oh we could be friends we have so much in common and then I’m thinking oh we couldn’t be friends I’m a goody two shoes and I don’t take risks i.e. your time in the boarding school, and then I’m thinking wow what a life it’s a wonder you turned out normal, and then I’m thinking what is normal anyway, these days?

All that to say I’m enjoying listening to you I’m enjoying getting to know you even better I’ve been listening to you for years, but still, you have a way of making us feel like we’re old friends, and we do of course love your paintings and we do of course love love your paintings.

I did send you a card but you don’t seem to have gotten it yet. I hope I got the address correct we shall see

Regardless I do wish you and John a wonderful 2024. Hugs.
