Campaigns as voted for by you! This time I’m challenging a game that is some sort of Soul Nomad clone, prehaps no bad thing as Soul Nomad is one of my favourite games of all time…

35:15 The weather didn't change, they just didn't lose movement tiles from your Zone of Control tech anymore.
Btw Free actions can trigger because the moral of your unit is high or because they have a personal trait that gives them one under certain conditions.
I really enjoy this series. I hope you will grab every dragon that exists 🙂
The difficulty spike was brutal on Warlord, I can't even begin to imagine how one would fare playing this blind on Ludicrous. Without going into specifics that could be spoiler territory, the best general advice I can give is to adjust your unit classes and formations for the opposition you end up seeing on the map. If there's lots of cavalry running around – switch the soldiers to spearmen, if you face casters – get acolytes. If there is a lot of assassins/rogues, then move your squishies to the middle of the squad and put some more beefy units in the back, so that the healers do not fall to stealth backstabs that absolutely clean the backline if enemy has rogues. Ambush works in forests and certain other areas – it gives enemies only one retaliation, only specific types of light infantry can do it, but in general it's not really worth the effort. And watch the enemy movement ranges, in general an enemy that is designated to be stationary will never have movement displayed – only attack ranges. It is especially pertinent when facing squads with rogues, it's best to never let them land the first blow on you and instead cripple them with a fast first strike.
