  1. Thank God for Firefighter Carden. I'm glad the driver is okay. And I hope this doesn't discourage her from continuing truck driving. I've been in 2 major semi accidents and I'm still driving

  2. Even though they train for situations like this, that took a lot of courage. First responders dont always get the credit they deserve. Great job by the whole team involved in this rescue.

  3. He sure wasn't the biggest firefighter in the house, but one which an immense amount of courage, faith, and heart!

Praying for the drivers who are still hospitalized. Much respect from Texas.

  4. What’s noteworthy is that ALL of the TEAM are trained equally, anyone of these FF’s could have been sent in for the rescue, but all of the TEAM had his back and that alone took the stress level near or below a 50/50 chance the rig didn’t slip.
The video of the retrieval showed just how solidly wedged both Tractor and Trailer were.
Trailers as this one can support or are Rated for 80,000 pounds of cargo and in this position any amount inside could have slid forward of course only the Driver knew what she was hauling.
Thank GOD she wasn’t privately hauling Livestock like Horses!
