Your frustration with Merry and Pippin is warranted because they were both younger than Frodo and Sam. Frodo and Sam were both the equivalent to young adults (23-25), Merry was early 20s…Pippin being the youngest was the equivalent to a kid fresh out of high school! That is why Pippin makes such immature decisions! But keep watching itll be worth it! (Their ages are exact but within a couple years, but Pippin was legitimately the youngest and least mature going on this quest)

these three movies are the kind that will NEVER be made again. the heart and dedication that was put into these three movies are outstanding. when you two are done with these movies I HIGHLY suggest watching the making of them. it is out of this world the amount of overwhelming hours that everyone working on these movies put into making them. NEVER will these types of movies be made again!
