  1. Hi Grill, I'm going through some of your series and finished Mon Bazou and loved it! Started car detailing simulator and really enjoyed it will there be anymore videos on it?

  2. make you a shovel and dig up some termites in termites mounds nearby ues on advance chemistry bench to treat over heating. Or make an alcohol still, get some pinapple, and cannonball fuit and make a sweating potion. Termites are easier and handy. I had the same problem and was getting very frustraited. I had to go back to the island of hope and make a bunch of water containers filled with water before going back to copper island and then made a water still and put out some date juice catchers, made a log water holder and now i'm good to go. It's really hard on copper island because it doesn't rain. Atleast it hasn't rained on me yet. lol Keep playing I Love watching you play the game, I love it too.

  3. Love the content on this game so far. Does you getting your leaf gear and backpack wet make it break down faster? Like if you go out and it starts raining or you decide to take a dive and look at stuff does the water saturation make it break down faster? A thought and shot in the dark. I know in the moment of gameplay one can forget certain things. Keep up the great vids seems like a really neat game.

  4. I rarely have a vocal reaction to a game I’m watching but that spider… Ugh. I’m pretty sure I recoiled from my screen. 😅 Anyway, I think you made a ton of progress in this video, and it was fun to see even if certain parts (like the jaguar and all the dehydration) were really tense. This game does such a great job with the atmosphere and the sounds – being able to hear a big cat but not see it at first was extra horrifying. Hopefully when you do go back things go better. Also, I think you brought bamboo home for the water distiller? I hope it doesn’t need copper too, but if it does at least you were able to bring back quite a bit. There are so many crafting recipes in this game, though, I honestly can’t remember what you needed for which one. And that’s kind of amazing for such an early release of a game.

  5. You could always run out to the water wells on that island. If you just go to get water it doesnt take long… and yeah even though the game warnes you about spiders and snakes the first spider crawling on me was very unnerving lol

  6. Formic acid is named because ants, family Formicidae, create it. So either ants, maybe termites, would be where you get it. Assuming they're going for somewhat realistic, which they seem to be. Only about 10 minutes in, sorry of you figured that out.

  7. Another helpful tip or 2 for you Grill:
The most important thing you NEED to do is fix your water situation.
Craft a Solar Water Collector (in machines tab) + Clay Collectors (Craft a couple or more)
You will need sea salt to dry and preserve your food and the solar salt-water distiller provides this.
This machine works best with a clay flask for filling the tank. Make at least 3 water barrels to handle your over flow. These do NOT evaporate water!!
You know the drill, fill your collectors with rain, fill up your flasks and fill barrels. Coconuts do not grow everywhere so you need to do at least some of what I suggest.

You must build a cart to gather ore. And you cant smelt down copper without coal, It is just as important as the copper is. One of your 1st priorities is to craft a copper pickaxe. Hint: There is more than 1 copper mine on Copper Island! In fact, you may want to consider a 2nd base on this island for copper collecting. It works for me.

You are doing great though, I like your play style.

  8. hey I translate with Google, hopefully you can read. Water theme, I did it like this. Built 5 rain collectors, then high in the mountains and collected bamboo, then I built 7 water bottles, then filled them all up and you can leave them on the biden, then I built 3 these wooden water barrels and as soon as it rained, they too fully made…. and fruit, only eat when you are thirsty or think it will rot soon 😉. On another island, it doesn't rain, so build the thing with salt water and this wooden barrel for water storage. I play on normal and never have a water problem. otherwise good episode.

  9. I've been trying to decide whether to buy this game and YouTube recommended one of your videos yesterday . I enjoyed it enough that I watched the rest of the videos in the series! You've made the game look more fun AND watching you play is fun. I really like your chaotic play style and your excitement/focus on exploration. A lot of survival type playthroughs get bogged down in doing things the "right" or most efficient way. That kind of spoils the fun and danger of exploration.
I would enjoy watching a master cut of all the times you ran past those pointy sticker bush things while looking for sticks. Literally the first time you thought to cut one down you were attacked by a bird.

  10. Watching the progress you have made each episode has been so much fun to watch. Absolutely love this series!! So invested watching you play this game it feels like forever in between episodes, but exciting when you post a new one. Hope you are feeling better!!

  11. I fill sad for the kitty the devs need to make that you can tame the cat and when you go out with them the other cats do not attack you

You need to check if crab or fish gives you some water

  12. I get you wanted to cut some trees and start on the copper, but tackling health issues should be the priority xD
There are a load of termites in the red island, near the dock. Maybe take the time to go back there and explore 🙂

  13. I found out the hard way yesterday that the heat exhaustion debuff stays on you until you use the termite remedy. I blew through nearly all of my water back home on Isla Esperanza until I figured out that I needed to go back for termites. Nearly died. After a couple of back and forth visits to Copper Island, I now have the meds I need to combat that. Now I'm trying to upgrade all of my clothes, the hat especially, to the hide level in hopes that it's going to combat the heat in the new area.
