Glendale Heliport (1000 Flower St.) opened in 1959, by Richard Hart Sr. of National Helicopter Service. LAPD took over there about a year later. Facility closed around 1982/83, & Hooper was fully active. Featured in 1983's "Blue Thunder". Reply
