In this session, We head north to Ecruteak City and begin sprawling out all over the place. Since story progression would have started at the burned tower, I decided to explore the adjacent routes to see what Pokemon we could catch and see what other locations we can get to. We arrived first at Mahogany Town, which seems to be very popular due to what was happening at the Lake of Rage, which we were not able to do much at so we head southwest to Olivine City, and while there was a bit more for us to do there, I decided to return to Ecruteak and advance the story. We were able to catch lots of Pokemon along the way as well! Finally, we take on Morty, of the Ecruteak City gym, and try to obtain our fourth Gym Badge!
