  1. Got mine the other day and scanned/printed the map and Mission 1 card. (I wish the book was spiral bound to lay flat.) I am going to use a combination of Lone Sherman and American Tank Ace counters. I hope to try it tomorrow. I am surprised the infantry do not move – it should be pretty easy to stay away from them. 🤔Thanks for the playthrough – you have been very busy!

  2. Great video. That first Panzer shot was brutal! At around 17:25 you used a Move order to reverse and then a Turn order to turn more than one hex edge I think. You can only reverse with a reverse order and can only turn one hex edge per turn order. I think you correct this. Doubles can’t be used to reverse either, just move or turn. The red “FMG” at miscellaneous 1 is Fire Main Gun. 2 is fire machine guns. At 27:20 you forgot your Miscellaneous phase. At 31.41 you turned twice with one order. None of this affected the outcome – you did well to survive! Thanks Dan.

  3. You know, just the other day I was thinking, "Daniel doesn't have enough Sherman tank videos on his channel. As a fellow YouTuber I need to let him know ASAP!"
I'm glad you noticed first though. 😉😆😆🤣

  4. Man, that’s a lot of tank rules for you to keep straight in your head. Thank you for the video. I’ve been curious about these book games, doubting they are for me. I did pick up Bismarck when it first came out, but haven’t played it yet. After watching the video, I still don’t think these book games are for me. The color and quality of the maps and counters add a lot to the experience for me. Good luck with your next mission.

  5. Great video! Just bought this. What are those tank models from? If we don't own them is there a sheet in the book we can copy and print with tokens, or we just use whatever we want? Would like to get the tanks to make it more thematic.

  6. makes sense to go into hex 3 behind the forest and go hull down and try to smoke showing them your front, you will have protection from the impassable forest and the tree lines, then you can try flank them when they approach.
