  1. GOOD FOLKS! THE DOG FENCING IS MAINLY TO KEEP CLOVIS FROM WANDERING TOO FAR FROM THE CABIN. THE WOLVES HAVE BEEN STAYING AWAY FROM PEOPLE’S BUILDINGS AND LURING DOGS AWAY INTO THE BUSH. I WILL NEVER LEAVE CLOVIS BY HIMSELF OUTSIDE, HE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME. I REALIZE THAT WOLVES CAN JUMP A 4’ FENCE, BUT WITHIN A YEAR CLOVIS WILL BE 120LBS AND A WOLF CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GRAB HIM AND PULL HIM OVER A 4’ FENCE. THIS FENCE IS ALSO TEMPORARY UNTIL I CAN GET A MUCH LARGER FENCE AROUND THE ENTIRE MEADOW WITH WOODEN POSTS AND THE HOG FENCING STAPLED TO IT. I DON’T WANT TO GO THE ROUTE OF A 6’+ FENCE OR ELECTRIFIED FENCING OR BARBED WIRE. THIS STRATEGY IS LIKE THE HAN DYNASTY WITH THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA AND THE MONGOLS…ITS MEANT TO SLOW DOWN ANY PREDATORS NOT KEEP THEM OUT PERMANENTLY. I THINK THE BEST DEFENCE IS JUST TO ALWAYS BE TOGETHER WHEN OUTSIDE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND CONCERNS! I THINK THIS TEMPORARY FENCING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING AT THIS POINT. ESPECIALLY WHEN CLOVIS IS A PUPPY. STRENGTH AND HONOUR! 🐺🌲

  2. I'm still back on episode 12 (I just discovered your channel this past weekend) but I came here in hopes you may see this comment. Everyone can learning something from watching these videos. It is beyond inspiring to watch you learn more and more as you go and I truly think that everyone watching these videos wishes they could do something like this in some capacity. This is better than any tv show in my opinion. Keep on going man we love you. OOGA BOOGA MAY THE GODS BLESS YOU FOR YEARS TO COME.

  3. What a beautiful dog, now it's training time, you should prioritize recall and heal, 1 hour roughly a day split into 10min sessions, when it's out of the puppy stage you should look into a raw diet as it's so much healthier for them. Can not wait for the next video ❤️

  4. Always try and keep wood out of ground and use concrete piers and saddles and always use rebar. If you put wood in ground it’s better just to use gravel and tamp down in layers. If you use clam shell digger get yourself a pinch point bar as well. Good luck
P.s that auger gave me PTSD lol I rather hand dig than use hand held augers

  5. If you are truly concerned about predators, especially ones like Wolves and Yodels, you're gonna need to prioritize proper strong fencing, and that fencing should be at least 6' high and 3' deep into the ground.

Normally wolves do not go after pets, nor children. Usually that means they're either starving, mentally ill, or are not actually wolves, but wolf-dogs who've bred with farm/guard dogs. In fact, the they won't even go after livestock usually unless they're halfbreeds. That's a little taught fact.

  6. I just discovered Origen brand of dog food, I just lost my wonderful dog. He was 14 1/2 years. His diet was too rich – it ultimately led to vey serious digestive problems that I didn’t understand. Low-fat is essential for dog’s digestive health. 🐕‍🦺 +

  8. I am still smiling at the comment that a manual post-hole digger might be better than an auger. I had a summer job one year in high school of planting fence-posts with a fencing crew. I swore I'd never touch one of those things again, and 40 years later, I haven't. 😎☘️
