"Local Coffee Shop Calls Police On Public Photographers" #FirstAmendmentRights

We were in Placentia Ca. recently gathering photos & video outside this local Starbucks drive thru. Soon after our arrival customers in cars started giving us the one finger salute & a short time later one of the employees made contact with us asking the purpose of our recording. After he went back inside , about 15-20 minutes later , two units from Placentia police department arrived on scene. I was curious as to the narrative the officers used inside so as any journalist would do, I asked once they returned outside. The officers were cordial but declined to answer which is perfectly fine. Before they left, they wished us well during the holiday season.

  2. Amazing how people don't want to be filmed in public but every store or restaurant they go in they are filmed and for all they know there could be other people filming them in public and just not making it obvious.

  3. These people are still plugged into the matrix. Who cares if someone is filming? Why do they feel guilty? Are they not really who they think they are? They are unwitting agents. Modern day slavery. Self imprisoned in a delusional construct. People are monsters when emotionally driven by feelings. There is a false pretense of civility in our society. All people can become monsters under the right circumstance. Know thy self and then you can understand human nature thus allowing yourself to overcome your animalistic tendencies. Quit caring what other people think or do if they are not harming anyone. Quit projecting and attempting triangulation based upon others and external events. The miracle and truth is within. True peace is within. We are on the front lines of reality through all of space and time. This reality is not a foregone conclusion like the politicians and the news try to dictate. Everyone is just as important as anyone else regardless of color, beliefs or financial status. We are all miracles. Go forth and live your life as you choose. Follow your passion. Be kind to others. Peace out.

  4. When I was a kid back in the '60s and Dad had the 8 mm film video cam that we brought on vacation it didn't have any sound but nobody and I mean nobody ever questioned us about being filmed especially if we were walking down Shoppers row. People are so pathetic today. Ignorant out the gate. Paranoid to the max. I could care less if my photo or video of me is out there I've got nothing to hide. Perhaps they do….

  5. Am so glad that I found your channel. Am a professional photographer. And get harassed by the public and the police. Now I have something to show. That what am doing is nothing compared to you harassing the public and pulling resources that could be used somewhere else. Keep up the good work.

  7. I don't get the drive-thru thing, especially if there's a massive long queue of cars. Why not hop out, rock up to the counter, place an order, head back to the car with the coffee(s) and carry on with whatever?
