  22. I love how excited you're were to see fellow Simmers in the video and I personally "EEEEEEEEE"d when I saw you. I love the idea of a baby update. Babies right now aren't Sims, just annoying pieces of furniture/decor. I'm hoping this lets them become real Sims rather rhan aime sleep destroying object I'm desperate to age up asap.

  23. For everyone arguing it’s important to note a couple of things about the announcement video. Firstly, they said “infants” not babies so the hint is actually that life stages will possibly expand on the life stages we already have or “add-on” top of, meaning that babies themselves will still be non-objects, and that infant life stage will go inbetween babies and toddlers. It’s going to be it’s own thing similar to how it was child, pre-teen than teen in previous sims generations games. Next, the other hint is that life stages will be expanded upon with the two new worlds so possible expansion pack with items for the life stages and life stages themselves will be an “add on” to base game meaning that even if you don’t buy the new packs or kits you can still go through all the life stages like you would normally in real life. Lastly, project Rene is years in the making. They aren’t going to step fully away from Sims 4 until the bugs are fixed , and they’ve updated a lot of things. Which honestly is good because they are trying to be better than what they have been doing previously. It will be multiplayer, and have a paralives kind of feel and vibe but, it’s important to recognize with first looks how similar the two look to each other however, they are two completely different games & could absolutely still end up having absolutely nothing in common.
    -right now the only possible competition Sims 5 & EA have possibly is paralives and the life simulation game by Arnie. No other games like them exist in the market or atleast the only ones that will do well. It’s really the first time we are going to see them actually have to compete and have better ideas overall. So they are probably going to spend as long as they can on it!
