  2. Hello Mel, thank you for your comment. I did get in depression after my AFIB episode over a year ago. Then a test showed that I have a mildly enlarged aorta, I forgot the issue with the aorta for a long time until it was time for a follow-up visit, my sadness returned and now I have two things related to my heart to worry about.

  9. Dogs are such a blessing. We have an 11 year old English Creme White
    Retriever and adopted a rescue part Jack Rusell Terrier and Dachund just before the first Covid lockdown. Little Rio had been in 3 shelters and had been abused. He was scare of me for 5 months because I walk with a cane or walker. Now he jumps in my lap and bed. What a blessing Disco and Rio are.

  14. Many thanks (mahalo nui loa) for the info from Granddad Arthur. He died before I was born, and dad never spoke about his parents very much. Perhaps the dog was from his childhood, as my grandmom liked to feed the neighborhood cats. I will look for the name Kevin mentioned. Blessings to you both for your kindness.

  15. @Juanita Dempsey . If there is any doubt in my mind, don't do it. Listen to that little voice talking to you. I didn't – and I will never be the same. I checked into the hospital on Sept 6th for an "in and out" procedure. (Stenting of an artery.). While they were wheeling me into the surgical room a little voice kept teling me "Don't do it – run". Instead I prayed and didn't listen. I wasn't discharged until DECEMBER 17TH. Anything that could go wrong DID including flat lining twice – full blown CODE BLUE 3 times and the stenting was never done. I had 7 broken ribs from the CPR they did and in a few weeks contracted Sepsis, Staph and MRSA. I will keep you in my prayers that you make the correct decision. I just gave you the "readers digest" version above. If you knew the entire ordeal, you may not believe it. Best of luck to you, Juanita.

  19. I grew up with an African Grey named Radar. He was my mom’s one true love. Her “real child” as she puts it. Of course she named him after the wonderful character from M*A*S*H.

  21. Watching you both gave me the lift in spirits I needed. Thank you so much! It's been an emotional week after our family dog of 17 years was put down due to her ailing health. Still, I'm grateful she lived so long 🙏

  24. My baby 🐶🐾Doberman girl passed in 1986 from breast cancer. She was 13 yrs old. She has come to me in dreams (which I love even though I still mourn & miss her😪). Thank you both for all you do.

  27. thank you mel.. you are rght. am working not to be a victim even with head on pillow (POTS), have done all the research, spoke up for myself with the docs, taken the right supps and natural alternatives.. i know in my heart and deepest desires i wish and feel my destiny to to help heal others, otherwise, i would not have had the learning and life ex[eriences i have had.. thanks to you.. hugs and blessings.

  42. I'm Norwegian, and we are not members of the EU. We were however in the first batch of countries to join NATO. We are staunch supporters of Ukraine here, and we will support them every way we can for however long this devastating madness lasts.
