Her hoomin didn't know she was pregnant with me. So, my first hoomin put me up for adoption. It's because of you that my second hoomin adopted me instead of going to a pet store. Hi saskia. Any chance you could do a piece on male bonding but covering once paired what to do when one displays dominance that prevent a clear determination and territorial intent to stop a subordinate from eating food. Blocking off at every attempt to access food at any angle you place multiple bowls. It's like if you go to any bowl I'll make that I'm there in your way to stop you. When on floor in a neutral area bond and it doesn't happen. Veggies are important so concerned making living together perminant. Been fine on floor time just a food issue when place together in habitat. Both can live separate if needed but and have buddy time frequently but obviously full time living together is best .

I am glad that Saskia talked about Pet Smart and Petco and their selling of sick guinea pigs.She is right, it is not the people who work in the stores fault. It is the fault of the people above them who make the policies on the selling of guinea pigs. Funny thing is Pet Smart has vets clinic associated with them but their vets most likely are not Avery vets and trained to know about guinea pigs and that is a shame. I think if Pet Smart and Petco had some real good vets trained to know about guinea pigs, and worked at the stores, then maybe the vets could check the guinea pigs every day and if any of them sick, remove them and nor let them get sold sick.
