  1. If McCarthy goes at number 2 it would be the biggest fleece job ever…lol McCarthy was going second round according to pff 8 weeks ago. To move up to number 2 just because he threw fast and did good in the 3 cone drills is ridiculous in my book. How is McCarthy pulling this off??

  2. I’d swap McCarthy and Maye in your tiering. McCarthy, Williams, and Dainels in tier 1. Maye and Penix in tier 2. (Though I don’t want a pocket passer and would avoid Penix.) Nix in tier 3.

I’m not alone on this. It is just easier to accept that there is a big 4.

  3. This happens every year. Just watch how far Mccarthey drops by draft day. Maye and Williams have been on top for two years. Daniels earned a higher ranking. Mccarthey is the flavor of the month. We know he can hand it off to a RB. That is about it for sure. He just hasn't thrown that many passes.

  4. I don't understand the man crush over JJ. He comes from a run 1st offense. Coach KO's runs a pass happy offense, QB throws from 30 to 45 times on avg in his offense.

JJ Starts: 28 Pass Att: 713 least among the top 6 QB in the draft

  5. How the heck can you say 2 superbowls is bad. Man, lets get it straight, guy. Matthew is right you are wrong. McCarthys ceiling is far less than the top 3 and his floor is less. McCarthy goes from 2nd round 7 weeks ago according to PFF to the best qb. Levis was going to sneek into the top 3 last year look where he went. WHY?????🤣🤣🤣 He threw the ball fast in the combine??? He wasn't accurate at the combine. I don't know what you were watching, or are you just going off what people are saying? Facts bro facts!!! Mccarthys passing yards were half of Daniels and Daniels ran for 1000 yds. Double the TD's (50) Maye also passed and ran way more than McCarthy. Someone is getting McCarthy and his agent a big payday. Look up the difference between second round and number 1 overall. It's huge, so great PR work to get McCarthy there..🤣

  6. The Wilf's sound a little delusional with their competing for a super bowl with their current roster, they don't have starter level quality at any of the defensive line positions. The offensive line is going to be starting Blake Brandel who has been a backup lineman for three years, and Sam Darnold is going to be their starting QB. I am okay with a down year I expect that if they have their first round pick it might be a good one.

  7. I have a feeling that Kwesi and KOC are having lots of private talks with Washington, don't be surprised if the Vikings make a trade with them as the feeling is that they want a certain QB and are going to do what ever it takes.

  8. If the vikings decide to draft JJ McCarthy, they must draft a running back (that's of caliber, and still available) to help the running game. Obviously Darnold's gonna need that as well. AJ will definitely have a impact this year. We will see how the free agents pan out. But seriously we're in a rebuild, and this will take time. I believe in this team, and the direction there going. Sign Brian Flores to an extension. SKOL.

  9. Best thing long term for the Vikings, Trade JJ to Arizona for the #4 this year and their # 1 pick in 2025… This gives the Vikings # 4,11,23 in this years draft. Use #4 for a QB. Use 11 & 23 to pick up a Edge & WR.. JJ deal is only going to hurt the vikings long term. They kid has been talking about getting paid for 2.5 year. He has already turned down a deal that would pay him 30-Mil per year.. We already got rid of the Greedy Check Down Guy and Now we are letting this Kid be a Diva. Does not seem like a team player to me. Lets get younger and richer and grow from the draft.

  10. Maybe we can do something similar to what the Eagle's did to get Carson Wentz if Washington or New England don't want to trade down to 11? We can trade up to #4 or more realistically #5 and then trade with the Patriots for #5 and next years 1st rnd. They could still get a QB if want McCarthy. I would explore a double trade because the Eagles went from #13 to #3 to get their QB.

  11. I hear we are having private workouts and with McCarthy in particular, but I haven't heard anything about the other QB's. Just curious because its only 4 weeks before the draft and we don't have a trade deal.

  12. I'm convinced in my mind that it's not JJ McCarthy #1 on the Vikings board, it's Jayden Daniel's for the mere fact he's LSU and the most dynamic out of the big 4. He may need to work on his middle game but hes exactly what I know KOC wants. McCarthy is #2 in the Vikings war room I'm 99.9 sure.

  13. Using Eli Manning as a comp. Is ridiculous! He was carried by a great D that shut the Pats down 2 times. Take out those two playoff runs and what did Eli Manning ever do in his career? How many double digits winning seasons did he have?

  14. If we get stuck at 11 and 23 could we trade those picks to teams that are almost guaranteed to be dumpster fires (for their 2025 #1 and maybe #3) say one to Car and one to NE and then we are positioned to pick qb next year and move all the way to #1 if we don't have that pick already
