A struggle to survive is something all animals have in common. Predators like lions and hyenas binge on the fallen, as nature’s undertakers circle above waiting for their seat at the table. When the animals pass on, a fleet of scavengers arrives to clean up what others leave behind – Africa’s clean up crew. Unfortunately, vultures are in decline due to inflight accidents, poaching and poisoning, making them some of the most endangered birds on the continent.
