2023 might be a even better year than 2022.
I need to stop watching your channel, j/k. S95b in one room, a G2 in another, and now we have CES coming up. I'm falling into a TV abyss!
Soundbars are crap in general, boring. LG needs a serious competitor to the A95K (Not even counting the garbage that is the S95B, that's a whole other mess)
What are the actual dates of CES 2023
LG is playing catch up when it comes to sound. They are 3rd place compared to Samsung and Sony. Sony HTA9 and hta7000 with spatial mapping has been a hit for 2 years now.
Samsung q990b soundbar was #1 this year.
Lg's soundbar for 2022 was dead last. And that .3, the 3rd atmos channel in the middle was a complete dud.
That new wall mount is exciting though.

Considering the LG C2 and C3 have 4 hdmi 2.1 ports, what's the value in having 2.1 passthrough on the soundbar?

Soundbars are good in small spaces, when it is a very spacious or medium-sized place, the sound is lost. A small room with a closed TV is where it works best, it is ideal for very small spaces.
Is LG going to address the issues that their past Sound bars have had? Like the wifi connection/Interference issues? And what do they mean by powered by DTS? Didnt LG drop support of DTS/X support on their oled TV line? They need to add that back. Nothing from this news has me wanting to spend any money on a new soundbar by LG until they confirm these issues.

At this point lg needs to support all formats to include hdr10+, dolby vision and adapt qd-oled.
