I still don't get why people take so much pride in raiding? Congrats, you're able to memorize patterns, good job, you're a real piece of work. If given enough time ANYONE could clear ANY raid in ANY MMO. It takes time but it's not hard.
How is transmog system here? or is it store based?
Gotta say, this game had zero percent of my attention. Then it released, now it owns me.
I'm of the opinion that any raid can be beaten if enough time is dedicated to learning the mechanics and you gather a good enough team and you all communicate and are geared appropriately.
But with that being said I can understand people not wanting to put in the time and effort and pain to learn a raid as complicated as the end game ones in lost ark. Because there is a lot to remember.
The early raids and instances are a good place to start in lost ark and if anyone ever has trouble there are plenty of tutorials online that explain mechanics for several raids and instances.

Let me be clear: I don't know shit about wow, but i'm socked that is meant for everyone, nothing looks more to me like the symbol for ultra mmo nerds as wow. (not meant as a bad thing what so ever, its a great badge of honour to me, in another words for me it looks like the mmo of mmos)

This game has me. This is my new time sink and I have just immersed myself into this world. After 7 years of playing FFXIV at a high level, this is incredibly refreshing.
LOL I love how you bring up RS, its true it use to be a simple point and click game but now its transforming way beyond that. And now every new boss has a new mechanic and my opinion it ruined the game. What I'm getting at is yes RS has some hard content, so hard that people will spend hundreds of dollars and give a stranger their account info just for a cape.
The collecting of materials to build up for your "Legendary" gear was done in TERA years ago.
I'm surprised they adapted this concept into Lost Ark.
People don't realise how MMO are extremely complex to people who never played an MMO before. I have a friend who finished all souls game but I had to babysit him the whole time and explain stuff like dragging the horse from mount tab to the hotkey bar is an option or the compass icon next to a quest can be clicked and shows where you need to go.
5:40 I played DSR… Then I discovered the sorcerer class and I don't think I can go back to anything else on DSR. Much of the entire game is like easy mode, some of those early soul spells are OP… I mean dropping a boss in like 4 to 5 hits OP. 😂
05:30 dark souls isnt hard. Its just that its unfair. You have to die a few times to learn the enemies patterns, thats it. If dark souls is hard, then monster hunter is ninja gaiden 3 lvl I guess. Its not hard. Its time consuming.

i put a lot of effort in to not get overwhelmed and i take my damn time lol. i need to be able to formulate ease to new mmo players i constantly interact with. love making people play video games with me lol
I tried WoW but I didn't have friends who played, so I was quickly gated out of content because no one wants to pick up a noob with zero knowledge (comparatively) and teach them.
Yeah it's a big game, but I think being able to solo content in Lost Ark is what will make it easier to really get in to.
yep it's overwhelming for me, I has never play a single mmo before and I'm confused at everything that it told me to do, just opening the box in inv is already confusing for me

I press a lot of G, but damn this combat system doesn’t get old and it’s completely addictive. All these different build option ruin me, I can’t stick to a main, they’re all fun as hell.
