At last! I was getting worried!
I was idly browsing mods yesterday and saw the Publius Claudius Follower mod. I immediately let out a completely involuntary and rather loud "Damnit, Publius!" in a very bad British accent.
I think I've been binging these VODs a bit too much.
Just called out of work, how convenient!
A bitter old man who hates magic comes to Dave.
"I have travelled over every inch of Morrowind on my own two feet, yet you tell me to learn these horrible teleportation spells, give me one reason why I should?"
Dave looks him square in the eye and says four words.
"The Coast of Death."
The next day the old man is seen at his local Mage's Guild with several scrolls and books in his arms.
Before ye pass the coast of death, ye must answer me these questions three!
Already watched this on Twitch, but good to see it on Youtube as well. More Morrowind content is always good.
Those red-tempguys sure are weird, drinking blood and all….said the bosmer.
It resets view after resting, as sleeping on tilted bed completly meses up camera in Morrowind. In previous Ashfall versions, bedroll didn't conform to terrain to avoid it.
So, "good" news. It's possible I might be able to actually catch streams again. Managed to catch a twitch stream, and my internet held for over an hour. I have no idea what quality it'll be, but hey. i might be able to watch again.
7:26 Idea that's probly a pain to implement: at 90% cooked, count it as like "Cooked: Rare", 95% could be medium, etc.
14:46 That's been my experience with TES companions in general.
23:55 that bugs reminds me of a graphics bug I had with Oblivion. Whatever effect the Oblivion Gates had for distorted air would just supersede everything. Including chameleon or invisibility stuff.
37:12 Mod idea that probably already exists: require a certain Alchemy skill or something to be able to ID ingredients.
57:25 You trained your cat in any meaningful way?! Amazing, that basically doesn't happen in the US. Cats are given a blank check to do whatever.
1:22:12 I choose to believe "disposing of moon sugar" is packing up and shipping it back to Elsweyr.
2:06:42 Something feels poetic about using a spear offered to Molag Bal to kill his worshipers. The weird part is he might even approve…
2:09:34 "Unfortunately"
2:11:31 I like all the random encounters too much, which means I basically only play on weekends. I do use a teleportation thing built into Immersive College of Winterhold that uses filled soul gems to warp to the various Hold capitals. I also use the ferries and carriages from time to time.
2:34:44 SCORE!
Monsters sorting iwth terrain isn't caused by Win11. Happens to me in Win10 sometimes too.
Whoa, Jingles, how did I not know you were playing this!? Now I gotta go watch from the beginning 😀
So much love for the Morrowind soundtrack
For Publius, as I'm sure you know, you could use the console to set his health to something stupidly high, like 4000 HP. He will essentially be immortal, but could still die from falling in lava or something.
Na fire/frost/lightening shield protects you from spells of that type
2:02:45 Yes, I fully agree with this sentiment.
I've been working on a big spell mod for Skyrim for some time now, and that is a naming convention I have used quite a bit because I feel like they give the spells more of a place in the world. D&D and Morrowind were big inspirations for using that style of naming spells after their authors. Granted, not every spell is being named that way, but the ones that are have their own little backstories I make for them about who made them and why they were made, which also helps me keep things mostly lore-friendly in addition to adding more flavor to them.
Apologies for rambling, I'm just happy to see someone else talk about spell names like that. 🙂
That town you were in looks like it has cheydenhals architecture.
Gets lit on fire
" You are hot " thanks ashfall
That joke in chat was fucking gold
"you need to offer god's food, otherwise if you gave them money, those lazy bums would spend them on cigarettes and booze instead" 😂
