Okay, this part of the story strays a bit away from the classic trope, I'll admit, as it highlights how the people saved by a hero aren't always grateful… Come to think of it, the very beginning was a bit odd as well (I saw you noticed it too): Oersted gets to marry the princess not after saving her, but just winning her hand in a tournament, which isn't exactly noble. Not much else to do from here, though: just retrieve Hasshe's relic and then it's straight to the Lord of Dark
The fellowship comes together!
You're right about JRPG's not showcasing elderly people much.
Sadly playing as young people is just the more optimal choice since its the most popular.
👍👍
Getting to hear Heroic Struggle in full thanks to that Polar Bear… I love it.
31:56 Huh, thought he died. It's neat to see an actual individual as a normal enemy. That don't tend to happen often.
If you play efficiently, you should be able to reach and at least attempt to fight the Lord of Dark tomorrow.
Was not expecting you to have a full party of four, (or for Hasshe and Uranus to even be alive). I find it interesting that Uranus didn't isolate himself as much as Hasshe, and is the one to convince Hasshe to come along. If I was to guess, Uranus will either almost, or actually die, causing Hasshe to reconsider his views of humanity. Will be looking forward to seeing how right/wrong this theory is (especially since this story may have more going on than we think).
You couldn't help thinking about Squidward's painting, meanwhile my brain kept "auto-correcting" Hasshe as the Hasshe Slinging Slasher. It's equal parts hilarious and frustrating.
