  1. I did the DAS pass for my Mum last year in Magic Kingdom, this was our first park of the holiday. We did not have any problems using it. The line in the morning can be very long, to apply for it.x

  2. Thanks for answering my questions, I haven’t stayed offsite for so long so will be a different experience! I’ve cruised with TUI and Royal Caribbean before and have just booked my first Disney cruise for this September sailing from Southampton and visiting Belgium, Copenhagen, Oslo and the Norwegian Fjords! The price has always put me off before but we got an amazing deal 😄

  3. On your subject of cruising we are in Florida for a month in July and for one week we are doing a Caribbean cruise from Miami as it is cheaper than staying in hotels. We will let you know how we do 👍

  4. Off-site restaurants; it’s been a while for us but in the past Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel, iHop were favourites of ours. Maple syrup infused muffins at McDonalds 😋

On site ‘home resort’, we are undecided between Grand Floridian and boardwalk (swinging to GF due to contract length).
We stopped at Animal Kingdom in 2020 and found the reliance on Disney buses was to high and distance from everywhere on property.

We did loads of character meals in 2020 as we had deluxe dining, we now have our go to character meals but feel the price out ways the experience, so character meets will probably be our choice now.

You can use your points for non deluxe resorts but you will lose value in your points for those kind of stays.

Perfect Sunday, American pancakes for breakfast, Roast dinner for lunch (usually leaving home in the evening to go to work 🤮).

    Thanks for the chat 🙂

  5. I thought it was funny that you said about being creatures of habit and how you always went to the same place to stay. I have never stayed at the same place twice in all my life. But then I have moved over 25 times in my life too. haha, I am someone who likes a brand new experience for every holiday (I am not a sit and relax at the pool or beach holiday-er either, I want to explore and learn and see new things) Great video 🙂

  6. I had coconut shrimp at Margaritaville in Mexico on a cruise. I really loved it. They served margaritas, of course, and they were good. So you might like the restaurant. They serve more than seafood.

  7. I have done many road trips in USA staying at motels on the way. Done up and down east coast and also west coast. Also from Florida across to California through Texas. So much fun. Get to visit lots of National Parks and just see the unbelievable landscapes. Highly recommend!! 😊

  9. Favourite Disney Resort – Saratoga Springs. Quiet, relaxing & near Disney Springs.
Favourite Character Encounters – Darth Vader (Hollywood Studios), Alice & the Mad Hatter (1900 Park Fare) and Carl, Russell & Doug (back when Up! had just been released).
Roadtrips – Roadtrippers app definitely worth the subscription!

  10. Hi Ade and Lisa, I love Disney but have never been (yet). Ade looks like he's got Minnie ears and a bow on his head as he's sat in front of the ears on the wall!!! heheh. Me & my Johnny always love getting up early on a weekend, especially Sunday for the same reason as you two… plus I LOVE that 1st cup of tea, great to see you both chatting, it was like bumping into you on a walk and having a chat, great stuff !! I am looking forward to the next Q&A. Have a great BH Monday, sending lots of XOXOXO's. Sammyxxxx

  11. OK, cruising. First, let me say that we love cruising.
Disney cruises are great. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is unique. Disney fans have the magic at sea. They are very expensive. It might be a much if you’ve been immersed in the parks.
Carnival are cheaper and have the reputation of being a party cruise line. Royal Caribbean have some incredible ships and are particularly good for families (like Disney).
Next Feb we’re combining a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise out of Miami with some time at the parks (Coronado!). This the first time that we’ve done this but it’ll be great.
Lisa likes the idea of Norway or the Med. The fjords are beautiful. We’re recently back from Barcelona, Seville and Lisbon by ship – fab-u-lous. This summer we’re sailing the western Med – it’ll be good.
My advice. Give cruising a try. We’re happy to share advice and experiences.

  12. Dear Ade and Lisa

Just watching this from Adelaide South Australia and just wanted to let you know that many years ago, I was the Financial Controller for the business that did a lot of the filming and editing on WOLF CREEK!!!! ha ha!!

And just a suggestion that if you do go to Western Australia, then you should also come to Adelaide, South Australia in March of any year. We have the biggest arts festival outside of Edinburgh in the world, the best wineries in Australia and Kangaroo Island is just magnificent. Wilderness and wildlife at it's best – and it's all on island time 🙂

The flight's not that bad!! (it really is – I'm just in denial as I am lucky to travel a lot).

    Thank you for your vlogs!
    Cheers
    Claire

  13. Off site – haven't been to many yet! We did like Bahama Breeze. Character meet….. Always Mickey Mouse lol, but I do love Chewbacca! I also enjoyed meeting Baymax. Oh and always love Pluto!!! I have thought of a Disney cruise, but like you… May just do a regular one! I worry that it would make me feel a bit sad, now the kids are older. Especially if they weren't with me on it. My husband is desperate to do a roadtrip one day but we haven't done it yet!!! You've actually reminded me about this…. What would you say are your ESSENTIAL destinations for a roadtrip? One that ends up at Disney?….. We love Univseral and can't wait to visit when the brand new park opens in 2025. You know there is a site where you can swop your DVC points for Universal tickets and hotel? Unsure if it's better to just rent them and use the money but it seems pretty convenient. It's one of the rental dvc websites that's started it. I'm unsure of my favourite restort yet…….. as have only just become DVC last year via resale. But I guess from all the ones I have stayed at, AKL is my favourite so far. But I think I'm going to love the resorts on the Monorail!! x

  14. PS…. Wolf Creek has stayed with me for life! I found that one so disturbing. I didn't watch many horrors since actually lol.

  15. We really stole with crowds, too so ended up only doing one day at MK and a short visit before we went to Ohana (just Main Street really). We found we loved the parks in early magic hours and later in the evening when they were quieter. Same at Disneyland Paris. AK had the most relaxed vibes of all the parks and I’m sad we only got one day there. Loved all the theming at HS and loved EPCOT, too. Hard to choose a favourite but MK was our least favourite. Maybe we’ll like it more next time when we know better how to ‘do the park’ for our needs.

  16. Granted that Disney cruises are expensive, but also bear in mind that cheaper cruises may be on older, dated ships. Recommend watching Cruise with Ben and David's YouTube channel to get some ideas.
