In this LEGO city update, I continue working on the roads, train tracks, and boardwalk. That includes the construction of over 33 MILS Plates! To build all those I had to order a ton of pieces… and I ran out of other pieces LOL. Slowly but surely we are getting there and I cannot wait to get the base construction of the LEGO city done!

I never thought I would write these words, but the cycle lane is beautiful
The arch under the bridge is too tiny, maybe make a bigger bridge with cables, would look pretty cool 🙂
Should you move the train track behind the zoo? Move the road in front of the zoo where the train track is running now to align with the other road have a little car park in front of the zoo and make the train track run behind the zoo? Therefore the road would be consistent and there would not be a train track between the beach and the zoo where there would be (in real life) huge pedestrian crossing and traffic anyway?
The city already looks amazing. Please don’t stress, look after stuff at home and come back when your wife is better and healthy
Looks great, don't stress too much to try to get lots done in a short time.
I know for videos you would want it though
This is the first time ive been like wow that backround makes that city look amazing.
If you ever do a mountain, you could do a Wayne manor on top with a batcave underneath
it would be cool to expand the ferris wheel pier!
Hey I love the vids bricksie
Keep up the amazing work
Hope you and your family is well 😊
your lego city is so epic and i'm happy you got a studio. you have even inspired me to build my own lego city
you should make baseball stadium in the city
you bought a whole rolling cart and still carried all those parts in your arms around the table😂😂
It would be cool if the train track went over a short trestle as it passed the lighthouse into the train yard.
How do you access the beach car park you can only walk to it , good job building the city so far 😀
I love that it is a work in progress and that you are bringing us along for the ride . Everyday is a surprise. Tfs
Only if their was a way to make the courner s on the bike lain.s rounded than. Blocky pixalated .looking. The river running from the beach. Would look good with in bankment s on one side. Of the outter table side than the warter running all the way to the edge .with a walk parth. Bike parth .ontop on the inbankment an trees bench seat s bbq . than just. .one s you add to that. Part .owe yarra river. In melbourne australia is like that. Along the river …
You should just put a pedestrian cross walk across the train tracks to the board walk
For your beach. sea.arear you should add another. Table .🤔 You got all that space. Then you could add a harber .boat s dock s and have a shipping container arear ..it would add so much more. Detail to it and could replace the light house near a rockey cliff arear .
every like i’ll buy a lego set
In a way. You have kinda stuck with. Your old lay out. 😊 But. Streched it out. More ..its all ready starting. To look. Great .😊👍👍
U want to save more money just get the dollar tree base plate cuz know 1 can see it under the lego plates u can save more money on that that's what I used real lego on top and fake base plate lego on the bottom then u don't have to spend alot of money on base plates on the time
Now imagine doing a gta 5 story in that city
Greetings from Australia…an idea might be to remove the fire station and university from the waterfront and put in another hotel or restaurant. Waterfront areas are usually tourist, holiday and entertainment areas. Also, as suggested in other comments from other videos, move the university to its own area where you can add more buildings a park area and a sports field.
Have you considered giving some elevation near the boardwalk? I know that it doesn’t have to be realistic but the water, tracks and street are all on the same level
I'm sorry, I just don't get the Boardwalk being on the other side of the train track. Also a Boardwalk should have little shops and Kiosks along it. Maybe you are planning to add those though.
It was really cool watching you renovate the warehouse, for real, but now that you are actually building the city again, its just epic!
Great channel!
Do you have plans to make a little remote control car with a camera? Lego city streetview would be fun to see 😊
Really exciting to see all the track and boardwalk get placed down. You may have looked at it already for the rail yard, model railway layouts can help with giving you some ideas.
For the base plate alignment on the edge, have you considered creating a brick guide that overhangs the MILs plates and sits off the edge of the table? This would allow you to push the MILs tight against the table top and then can square it off. Could do it on the corners as well to get that alignment as close as possible.
Loving the new city aspects, in the UK the boardwalk wound be called a Promenade usually found in most costal towns.
Beauty.
Loving the progress. City is looking great
Do you have any freight trains?
There should be a pedestrian crossing for the boardwalk by the hotel since that is close to the other end of the boardwalk.
Are you using technic pins to attach MILS plates to each other? Everytime I see you moving baseplates around it seems like they are just "soft fit" with each other. It seems like that would help with alignment but a pain when wanting to get a baseplate out or rearange the city.
Remember Rome wasn't built in one day. You're doing a great job. Keep it up.
Excuse me Jordan, why aren’t you waving at the end of videos anymore? 🤣
Idea for your boardwalk. Take off the railing against the grass and build steps up or have the grass slope up. Then you can use the arches along more of the front and have a nice open area to transition onto the grass.
would be nice to see a nice train staging station. and use different track radius and nice crossovers on some parts on the layout. they also have very nice automated crossover lights that work with automated boom barriers and train detectors. and when using different track radius , it would give you much more options and make tighter/wider turns, and the 2or more tracks can be next to each other. nice sound and lights on the trains would also be very nice (oke, it will cost a bit…….) trixbrix / fxbricks / 4Dbrix . your new place looks great, i enjoy your content. greetings from the netherlands.
boardwalk should include a train station, would be very nice
Hi Bricksie just an idea where the track goes down the right hand side and it gets to the bricklink station ( sorry forgotten it’s name) do a left into the station on the left then it can go straight on though the mountain or turn right and go through the mountain and come out where the winter village is and join the rest of the track
In the bricklink station on the right side the hogwarts express could go round in a loop though the amusement park into a station then under the mountain back to the station and if you set it up to stop in the mountain till the other train comes back round to the station and if you set it up right you could get the polar express to run on the loop so they are both in a station at the same time I think that would look good
Make little airport!!
It would be useful to have two tracks so that the trains could pass each other, it would look more realistic, but how much material is needed
It’s a large project, don’t worry about redundancy and completion. The process is fluid and we are along for the ride.
Don’t you think this city is a little bit too spread out? I think you need a lot more buildings to make it look presentable, it just looks like there is way too much open space

The roads are really looking awesome now. So much more consistency achieved than you had when you were just getting the city on the tables. Yes, it's a process. But so is a real city. Nothing is ever "complete"… and the sidewalk at the bend of the railroad track has all kinds of possibilities. But I'm typing this as you go through your stack of new MILS road plates, so there's still lots of progress to see. Hopefully you get restocked on the 2×4 dark gray tiles and light gray inverted slopes soon. 🙂
The road alignment near the bend in the train track and the access hole (see around 20:10 and other times) should be an easy fix; it looks like the plan is for a pair of "T" intersections, one going each way. I hope Josee is feeling better soon.
central perk stairs could use rails so the minifigs dont fall down imo . keep up the content.
you should get your purple bricksie logo painted on one of your walls like upstairs or on the wall in the stairway. also when doing your mountains i think It would be cool if you added a volcano to make the mountains a little more interesting.
