  1. Lakers not trading 27/29 unprotected 1s for Hield/Turner is so dumb. Even if you had to add a 2nd or 2.

Lonnie Walker is 56 games as a starter shot 36% from 3 and 37% before this year for what it’s worth.

Also Andrew Wiggins would be a great fit. Shocked you’re acting like he wouldn’t be a great fit as great defender who can give you 14-24 virtually every night!

The fact Lakers offered Shroder 84 mill contract is 😂.

It boggles my mind everyone doesn’t agree Lakers need better ownership and MUCH better GM! Defending Rob is funny.

  2. Nope they signed Schroder because they need to rebuild the guard corps Nunn may be a starter If anything another trade is coming to siga a SF and maybe a SG This may be a prelude to trading RW WG and maybe Opie Reaves My 2nd prediction comes to past Consultation availaible

  3. Caruso was overrated! Yeah he played defense but MF literally didn’t average that many points foh! And getting Russ is not Lebron and AD fault because Lebron pushed for Lillard at first, then Demar who they refused to give shitt up for! Also blew the chances on kyrie

  5. READ THIS!!!!! KENDRICK NUNN IS MIA. WETHER ITS A COVER UP OR WHATEVER. I DON’T BELIEVE THIS PARTICULAR SITUATION IS NORMAL AT ALL. HE SHOULD BE GOING TO LEBRONS MINI. WITHOUT PROGRESSING INTO READINESS NUNN IS NOT WHERE HE SHOULD BE UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES. ITS BECOMES SOMETHING OF A COVER UP THE LONGER THIS CONTINUES.
MISSING IN ACTION IS THE WORDS I CAN STAND BY, UNFORTUNATELY

  6. Man where is Magic when you need him! We should fire Pelnka he hasn't done anything right…. if you paid attention that championship team was really built by Magic!!! He is a closer we currently don't have one!

  7. The Lakers front office is high on shrooms and apparently failed grade school math, cause they won't have much cap space to make any major moves next season. LeBron and AD take up $86.5M alone in '23-24, that's more than 66% of the cap. Add in the other players still under contract, the other cap holds, etc. They may have $34M available… Not full Max Contract money. And, signing someone at a third max deal with LeBron and AD both making more than $40M each, leaves nothing for team depth.

THE BEST MOVE is to build up long-term depth NOW through trades.

If they really wanted Kyrie that bad, they should have coughed up the two firsts to get him this summer and retained his bird rights.

Rob, Jeannie, Kurt and Co. are crapping the bed.

  8. I understand that Westbrook is a fit for this team, but let us be honest for a bit? Are we not all curious to see Westbrook and Beverley play together, and what they might bring out in each other?

  9. JUST BUNCH OF SHORT GUARDS. THEY DONT HAVE ANYONE TO POST UP WITH THEIR BACK TO THE WALL AND GET BUCKETS.
NO 6 FT 8 OR 9, 3 AND D players like JR, KCP, GREEN used to do.

they should have gunned for GRANT of detroit rather than waiting for kyrie. THT+2 FIRST ROUND WOULD HAVE LANDED GRANT A PERFECT PLAYER FOR LAKERS.

  10. I think the writing is on the wall for Westbrook with this pick up. I think he about to get the "Monix" treatment. My only concern with the roster is a solid backup to AD, outside of that I think we got a lil something.

  11. SAD. Lakers left a championship coach out there with a terrible team and no backing.. scapegoated him and because of how badly their decisions left the team hamstrung on moving Russ… they just now realize they needed to "empower" their coach?!! Idiots. And we're so happy now that we're going to operate with proper authority over a limited roster. 'Celebrate' taking back the reigns? .. weak weak weak. Makeshift solutions a year too late. The Lakers' ethos: we are bottoms, not tops.

  12. Is Rob Pelinka lost his mind? 6 guards now on this team! All 6 foot 3 or under! Unbelievable! The worst move I’ve ever seen! Pelinka gets a failing grade for the off season! If I was Lebron I would of asked out! They won’t make the play in! Just watch!

  14. Guys, generally I love the show because of your consistency and obvious passion for the team, but you are EMBARRASSING yourselves positing crack trades involving Russ and speculating as to what roster moves must be made.

I saw you guys continue to compromise your dignity in real time when the news about Dennis came across the wire, saying that this MUST mean Russ is being traded only to look silly moments later when reading Stein’s substack.

Saying the roster doesn’t make sense is short sighted – seems the key term for this year’s team is INTERCHANGEABLE”. I see many versatile lineups here, and if Russ can stay focused, he will thrive leading second and third units.

It’s hard to watch. Can we talk basketball? Can we try positivity?
