Truly the Renaissance Man of Indian Football Mr. Henry Menezes is one of the prominent personalities of Indian football, with a unique combination of a player-manager-administrator having an esteemed perspective on the business prospects of club football with over 30 years experience in National & International football.
Currently he is a Governing Council Member at the International Sports University, Maharashtra, and has also served as the CEO of the Western India Football Association (WIFA), which is the governing body for football in the state of Maharashtra; affiliated to the AIFF and also served as the Deputy chairman of AIFF technical committee.
In this interview, he talks about the genesis of his sports and football career, transition from player to managerial role along with inspiring stories from his life that makes his successful in his field. He also reflects upon the current scenario of the football industry, the day to day working of Sports Management Professional in football world and also shares invaluable lessons for youngsters who seek to enter the Sports Industry or Football Industry via Sports Management !
