Lawsuit Update – Settlement Announced!

Many of you will remember back in November of 2022 I conducted a Government in the Sunshine Investigation of the Suwannee County Florida Supervisor of Elections Canvassing Board. On the morning of November 22, 2022 The Canvasing Board Of The Suwannee County Supervisor Of Elections was scheduled to hold a publicly noticed public meeting that was supposed take place at 10:30am and be open to the public as required by Florida’s Sunshine law. However my Government in the Sunshine Investigation revealed that the Canvassing Board unlawfully held their meeting in secrete, behind closed doors before the scheduled public meeting time. But After discovering that the Canvassing Board had violated Florida’s Sunshine Law, Jennifer Kinsey the Suwannee County Supervisor of Elections had the nerve to call the police on me!
In order to enforce Florida’s Sunshine Law I filed a lawsuit against the Suwannee County Supervisor of Elections Canvassing Board.

  1. FYI NONE of the settlement money went to me. All of the settlement money went to court cost and attorney fees. I did this to enforce Florida’s Sunshine Law NOT to make money.

  2. That's awesome! However, these people committing these crimes need to nit have to pay using Tax Payer dollars but their own money. If this. Could be made law, then the people who hold these positions would take their actions much more serious.

  3. There's dozens of cameras in every government building, what difference does one more make. I don't understand the absolute hatred that they have for someone with a camera .

  4. Until the settlements bankrupt the defendant and the citizens go with out govt. services, nothing will ever change.

There are more govt. criminals than can be taken care of by lawsuits.

  5. I feel like dispatch and police should be accountable by emergency calls and non emergency. I won't do to great detail but accountable is when it starts and how it ends. Most times it's great effects of none accountable.

  8. anyone who lies or exaggerates to 911 should be charged with a crime they are so full of themselves they have no idea they are putting lives at risk with their petty bullsh^t part of any lawsuit settlement should include the firing of the person who was the reason for the lawsuit in the first place so the others learn a lesson from it or the next one in the office up the road will just do the same thing if she was fired that news would spread around the civil service real quick

  9. Why didn't you request the State Attorney to hold a grand jury oversight investigation? Did you request from the Governor's office to suspend the supervisor of elections and other public officials because of the potential voter fraud? What you've identified is not just a Sunshine violation.

  13. I have gleaned s pattern. "Do you still want him moved on" the dispatcher says. Not one moments hesitation or consideration of legality. Yhis is brcause thd police has become commervislised. The caller is the customer to them. So enacting the customer's whim is paramount. Its a culture and its self serving and above all lazy. Which is why feelings enforcement proliferates.
