L.A. County sheriff's deputy killed in ambush shooting

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy was killed after an ambush shooting on Saturday night. Authorities received reports of the shooting around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Sierra Avenue and Avenue Q. The deputy was identified as Ryan Clinkunbroomer, 30. He joined LASD’s Palmdale station in 2018 and served as a field training officer for over a year.

He had just gotten engaged four days prior to his death and comes from a family filled with generations of law enforcement members, according to L.A. County Sheriff Robert Luna. Officials confirmed Clinkunbroomer was found shot and unconscious inside his patrol vehicle by a good Samaritan.

  1. 'He was young so he had limited value haha just write the family a check for $11k' 😂😂😂

Why should the public care what happened to the cop, when comments like above are made by cops about plowing their cruiser into a promising young graduate student in Seattle? #NoSympathy

  3. No one likes a cop and they don't have any good training at all Take 6 months to become a cop there's never a good encounter with a cop they're out to ruin your day they're corrupt and all have gang affiliation activities

  4. I don’t want to see/hear of anyone getting hurt/killed. But after watching these videos with peace officers acting as thugs and not following the laws. No transparency. No accountability. Treating everyone as a criminals. The law is supposed to be “innocent until proven guilty”. But with the peace officers mentality everyone is guilty until we prove our innocence. Again, I don’t want to see people (any) getting hurt but it’s going to get worse before it gets better…but I think until the police change their tactics, that’s what will happen.
