  1. Tai is the guy who was lucky enough to escape horrors of war but still wants to help. Zenith is the guy who experienced worst the war had to offer and he changed to be alike his enemy. Both are great characters and the resolution Tai gives, Zenith with a government position and how that evolves in conversations with him on board your ship is for me one of the best companion stories in the game. Without it I would not like Zenith, I would think he is a hypocrite, but he actually is fully aware of how he acts, he just considers it necessary unless you present him with a reasonable alternative. And he does listen to advice. When I rank companions I am always surprised how high I place him in final analysis.

  2. Another fantastic video! A point of clarification, some planets like Taris and Balmorra have planetary storylines set after one another timeline wise. For example, Balmorra is not under active imperial occupation during the republic storyline which is why there is a republic cruiser in the cutscene. Balmorra is simply still under imperial rule from the imperials that now remain on the planet.

Over the course of chapter 2 in the games canon the reclamation project on Taris also fails and the Empire has control of that toxic waste ball.

On republic Balmorra they simply clean up the remains of imperial occupation that includes removing some key figures in class stories, like Lachris for the consular as an example.

This narrative structure was clearer to the player before the introduction of the level sync system because the planets in question used to be in different levelling brackets as a way to show where in the narrative each planetary storyline takes place in.
