I agree with your friend's analysis, this is probably a russian anti-p*tin agitator, but rather than naively assuming the group is pro ukr, I personally think this could be a more militant group that wants to replace putin with their own strong man, not revolution. The goal basically is to sow doubt towards existing leadership, and either gain favors of appeasement from p*tin or usurp control. To re explain myself, I think this is a Wagner group or similar faction basically making an appeal to insiders that can't easily be struck down. P*tin can't punish them, or else his own leadership comes into scrutiny. Nor can he ignore this. He can only escalate against ukr if he wants to show authority. Idk anything besides internet speculation.

I'm amazed at peoples fanciful ideas & speculations, it is astounding how naive some people are. Firstly this drone did not hit the Kremlin, it was shot down by Kremlin defense weapons. It is quite clear in the footage, you even see the rocket flash before strike. We know this drone came from with in Russia & was an inside job or false flag attack because the Russian radar systems are condensed between Ukraine & the Kremlin & would not have missed this slow speed drone passing over. In addition Ukraine does not have drones with a 400km range and it has to have come from away from the front line or would have been detected. I suspect its a Russian job to use as collateral to further attack Ukraine under the pretense that Russia is in danger. Its Putin's usual style.
While i respect your opinion Willy a false flag attack makes zero sense specially after looking at the Ukranian response, their national post Office released a post seal right after just like when the bridge was hit and the moskova sank. This attack was meant as a mockery to the Russian people by destroying their capitol flag on the eve of their most important festivity.
I think Ukraine is misdirecting everyone again. They will attack Zapo but I expect a few other areas to get hit before that happens so Russian troops are diverted.

Look over the last few weeks, we’ve been seeing many many news reports of Ukrainian drones, flying well into Russia towards Moscow and even in and around Moscow they found destroyed drone parts over the last several weeks. There should be no surprise that her Ukrainian drone hit the Kremlin, why that your Ukrainians would do. This is simply to embarrass the Russians, and expose their week air defense systems around Moscow also to cause them to possibly cancel their celebrations on the night Out of fear of more drawn attacks which would be embarrassing for the government so there’s an argument there for why do you cut Ukrainians may have been responsible for the drone attack
