Kingdoms Reborn – Rise of the Emirates! (Part 5)

Kingdoms Reborn received a major update, introducing the brand new Emirate faction! Masters of desert trade, but a bit lacking in lumber production, the emirates rely heavily on early trade to survive. But with sufficient funds and new military units… we can conquer the whole dang world!

  1. And you need to trade much more! Not build every stipid production line yourself but just import the raw materials and export the luxuries!
Just produce basic things yourself and trade the rest!
And don't show new content just because it is new but you're not ready to!
And the Agarvae's/Tequila production was a serious mistake!
And again, trade more! Build way more trade companies!

  2. I think your math might be a bit off here…
If 13 flour turns into 98 bread, thats a factor of about 7.5, with 24 wheat->31 flour at a factor of about 1.3 you should gain nearly 10 bread per wheat. Not 4.
And if 1 herb turns into 2 Medicine, and Medicine ist worth twice as much as herbs, you should quadruple your effective Gold right? Which does sound worth doing to me.

  3. 1. Your final minutes math was off – 13 medicine herbs turned to 25 medicine, meaning it was better for you to buy medicine herbs and convert them. Though of course there is problem of manpower, which I understand.
    2. In the previous version of the game, there was an option to create colony and I think that did cost influence (I think?). Is that still a thing? Because maybe this would be a good way to spend that.

  4. Pravus should try deity. It's pretty fun, the starts tricky but if start you on a tulip square, get 10 houses, wheat, tulip and medical farms right away. Constantly boost immigration office while getting 2 other food sources online. and set immigration as your only priority, you can get past the first winter. Be sure to Enable cannibalism, trade for tools and bread with medicine. Get enlightenment asap followed by farm buffs. This should net you a 100 pop city.

You can snowball from there. Just buy fertile land. Get libraries. And sell medicine for other goods.

  5. Hey Prav, if Medicines are 2x the price of med herb, why not auto import it, manufacture it to meds, sell some of it to cover the inmport costs, and use your farming field for foods? Also, why didn't you utilize more fresh water shores for more farms? You did spend your influence for more lands right??

  6. Random comment moment:

I know this videos old by 2weeks at this point in time but at 20:04 when you started talking for a moment about Tulips it reminded me of a Tulip festival thing I went to in the UK.
They had a variety of Tulips as well as several that were discovered in the 15th and 17th century which is just kinda insane.

Thank you for coming to my Ted-Talk, Random comment moment over.

  7. Personally, I think the workers thing has a bug where even though you have enough people and the houses are near the work structures that structure/s will lack them anyways coz I personally once had a population of 500 people and in total only required 400+ workers to man all the production buildings, some still end up empty somehow
