  1. Great song Kevin. Everything worked in the song. From all the little descrive lines that lets the listener paint a mental picture, to the simple musical arrangement and the use of phrase "wrong side of the tracks feels right" made for a good song. If you ever want your

  2. I'm so glad you requested this one Mr. Bounds. It was a great song! I guessed the 9.2 right, yeah! Well written song, sentiment attached, family oriented, memories of childhood, love of parents, even brought in the church. That covered all my expectations of a good country song! Loved it! 🥰

  3. I loved it, Kevin! I think I was born on the "wrong side of the tracks" – that being of a family that supported ourselves on the land and not by work in the town. Great lyrics, great voice! Thanks Don for a great reaction!

  4. Hi Don, thank you so much again for reacting to another one of my songs and for your great reaction! I really do appreciate it! About the song, it’s not autobiographical perse, but it definitely contains elements and an environment that I can relate to and I have experience with when I was growing up. Regarding where I’m from, I’m out of Texas. As you mentioned in one of your other videos, there seems to be a lot of Texas artists gravitating to your great channel. You’ve got a lot of fans there!! Also, thank you for the nice rating on the song. That was very kind of you! You mentioned before about rating songs by artists that are watching. I'm perfectly fine with it Don. I’m just very grateful to you for being open to playing songs by new and not so well known artists and songwriters. I really enjoy hearing the new artists and music you react to. I think you’ve got a really good thing going here on your channel. And it’s very, very much appreciated!🙂👍 Thanks again! – Kevin

  5. Wonderful song Kevin, and your performance is spot-on. I remember as a kid being very confused about the phrase "wrong side of the tracks". I hadn't heard the term until I started dating a girl and my parents got cranky at me because she was from the "wrong side of the tracks". I was confused on many levels – our place wasn't in Knob Hill or anything (post war years, tiny semi-detached neighbourhood), and I didn't actually cross any tracks to see her, and her place seemed the same to me as our place. So I really relate to the "wrong side seems like the right side to me". Thanks again Kevin for a super request, and a wonderful song. And thanks Don for another terrific reaction! Definitely an 9.2 or more!

  6. Thanks for posting. Kevin thanks for the song. This reminds me of our neighborhood when I was growing up. When my dad was coming you could hear his truck and we would go out to see him when he got home from work. Can't wait to hear more Kevin.
