Earlier this month, the brave men and women of the Louisville Division of Fire performed a daring rescue when a semi-truck was dangling over the Ohio River with a driver trapped inside. Sgt. Joe Berrow, Cpt. Michael Renn and rescue firefighter Bryce Carden reflect on the harrowing day, and share how their team was able to do something they’ve never done before to get the driver safely out of the truck. Thank you to the brave men and women of this fire department. You definitely deserve a shout out. I Thank God for saving this truck driver. My son drives 18 wheelers and I am always worried for his safety. They have to watch all of the drivers around them to keep themselves and the other drivers safe. Your department are true angels 😇.❤️

They did an amazing job! But it was a 4 vehicle accident and one person was severely injured and hospitalized. I can’t seem to find any updates on the person who was injured.
