it does feel gross to be going into these spaces and just killing probably hundreds of different creatures that have lived there untouched for centuries. it can’t be good for the caves to be disturbed this way.
spelunking may be fun for you, but you could also just like, pore some cellar spiders onto yourself in a blanket cocoon and it would be less environmentally impactful. or, you know, therapy.
