I don’t recall you explaining how the Bears would have extended Justin with the salary cap effect. I don’t think we gave enough consideration to the Bears being open to signing him.

  2. Well, with all that we've added in weapons, I expect any QB to come in and crush it. So let's 🐻 ⬇️ but If not, what was the point? In other news, I've been making myself aware of the Steelers media channels. 😅

  4. I think the weak deal to Pitt might be 'doing right by Justin .' Hard to believe they couldn't have done better now, or at least taken their chances up to the draft. With the Steelers jf1 has a workable situation where he is wanted.

  5. Is this dude for real? Joel Katt, Chris Simms, Kurt Warner are just a few of the overwhelming majority of analysts who view CW as the best QB prospect in this class. The bears will probably not be in this situation of drafting #1 again for many years. Also they could have traded Justin at the beginning of this season and got much more in return because he was going into his third season. So instead of drafting CJ they gave him another year to prove himself and he improved but the 4th quarter stats were last and 5th in fumbles. I love Justin but I love the Bears more

  6. I love your content Adam . I will be a Fields fan for life and as long as he’s a steeler he’ll be a winner . Mike Tomlin is a winner . Pittsburgh competes every year . Now I just hope Caleb is 60-70% of what he’s expected to be. This team is loaded . Caleb is coming into the best situation that any QB who went #1 overall. Sad day . But… #BearDown

  7. I forgot which game it was but I remember Poles going into the locker room and lifting up Fields and hugging him in excitement. That moment feels dirty to me now. We were more than likely going to have the number 1 pick at that point so why go show so much support for someone who you would trade for a bag of skittles. Everything about this feels wrong.

  8. I have one last conspiracy theory for the road just for fun. Ryan Poles wasn’t getting enough for the number 1 pick because Washington didn’t believe that he was serious about drafting Caleb while he still has Fields on the roster. Pittsburgh wants to draft a qb but don’t want to give up the assets to move up high enough to get one of those top 6 QBs. So Poles makes a handshake deal with Mike Tomlin and sends Justin to Pittsburgh with the intention of getting as much for the number 1 pick as possible. Then proceeds to keep trading down and getting maximum value until he gets down to pick number 6. Poles drafts JJ McCarthy. Then with the 9th pick trades all the way back to 20 and gets Fields back, sends them Tyson Bagent(Mike Tomlin loves West Virginians) receives another pick and keeps the 6th that won’t become a fourth because Fields will not play 51% of the snaps for the Steelers. The steelers get the chance to draft a quarterback at a discount price for helping us scam 3 other teams out of tons of picks. Lol I know it’s absolutely insane and impossible but it’s been fun coming up with wild scenarios happening behind the scenes and I just wanted to do one more. Keep up the great work Adam. We were all wrong about what Poles would do but I’ll still be watching your videos for your top notch analysis. 🐻⬇️

  9. Part of the reason we are sad is the loss of Justin who never got a fair shake. But a big part of why I feel bad is because I was VERY excited for the "historic haul" because I felt like the multiple 1st round picks this year and next year would have given us a longer term high end solution to many of the weaknesses on our team. Losing the haul makes me feel like we might have compromised a more solid future for the sake of one player who we hope will work out…but who we don't even know if he can throw in the cold yet.
So don't say fans are just in love with Justin… no…I really believe the haul would have been better for our team, both now and in the long run.
And, agree with Adam, the Caleb (or any rookie) move gives the front office 3 years of guaranteed job security. So there's that.

  10. Like you said at the top, “in poles we trust.” Let’s trust the process, because either way you look at it… he’s still cookin, and it’s truly exciting to be a Bears fan right now. It’s a new era, Bear down.

  11. JUSTIN FIELDS MAIN FLAW IS HIS MENTAL PASSING GAME. THIS IS ONE OF THE MAIN FLAWS RYAN POLES SAW IN JUSTIN FIELDS ALONG WITH OTHER THINGS. Justin Fields might fit in Better, in the Pittsburgh Steelers System.

  13. Hold your head up high my Brother! You put yourself out there based on what you thought was best for our Bears, and provided calculus to support your view point. Nothing to feel down about. I still believe trading out of #1 and grabbing Maye, could be an option to maximize our position. He’s more a pocket and timing player than Caleb. IMO, all 3 of the top QBs could use an adjustment period before getting on the field. However, Poles has provided a wealth of talent to support a rookie QB. Now it’s about the OL, and more importantly, Waldron’s ability to coach, design, and call an offense that maximizes the team. Time will tell.

  14. This is the BEARS thing to do. It screams "I haven't learned anything". Wasn't it just a year ago the Bears were pushing the idea of Fields as an MVP candidate? Now they dump him on a weekend for a 6th round pick. Low class move. If they don't trade the pick and take Caleb I'm a 49er fan. I'm worn out after decades of incompetence and mediocrity. I used to plan my day around a Bear game. That's over for good. The organization does not deserve my attention or time anymore. If they pick Caleb and he washes out which is far more likely than people think it will be the biggest train wreck they have committed on Chicago in my lifetime. How can free agents trust Poles after this? Let alone roster players on the team now?

  15. Why is Eberflus on the hot seat? Make or break year for HC depended by a rookie QB? That makes no sense to me. So Eberflus is not losing his job and not on hot seat.
It was best to trade Fields. Chicago media didn’t respect him. Already considered him gone in all the free agent press conferences. They never acknowledged he was on the team. I hope we draft Maye to just throw the whole thing into mass hysteria.

  16. Poles is changing the name to the Chicago Crybabies. P. S. Does it help your team to paint F U (the other team) on your fingernails? Maybe that’s why we’re have been mediocre. Maybe this year they will all bond by getting pedicures together….

  17. Adam, I wish you were right about Ryan Poles, but if you were JF1 would still be a bear. What Rpoles id is the opposite of Rpace. RP1 couldn't hold his water and spent, spent, spent! RP2(poles) is the same guy only stingy. A first time GM that got scared JF couldn't get it done, was afraid of the 5th year contract and took the Chicken $hit way out by resetting the QB clock. Poles just fired himself by letting his fear make his decision. These are the Chicago Bears and the more things change the more they stay the same. Never heard a stadium chanting for their guy before. Poles was the one to finally break me.

  18. Funny how the bears fans who saw the truth were called idiots and haters by this fan boy who thinks he knows it all 😂😂 now he’s trying to pivot. Stay on that side bro. You’ve been trashing Caleb Williams this whole time and still can’t accept that he will be the new Chicago Bears quarterback. Told you this would happen. Couldn’t even get a good pick out the bum. Now shove your weak statistics up your a hole.

  19. Saying williams has the same issues as justin means youre looking at stats and not film, yes time to throw is high but for different reasons, hes shown a consistent ability to work in structure but doesnt do it enough structure

  20. You are, doing great work, your analysis is your analysis. Is Ryan poles that good : claypool, leatherwood, velius, Scott, almost got rid of our best ol( Tevin), Dexter and the other dl?????, for a former ol now gm still has a terrible ol, everybody says our running game is so good but take jf1 stats out and we suck, flus sucks at head coach, what about Nakil harry, says I will not over pay in free agency but traded over market price for MONTZ, TRADED FOR KENNAN FOR 23 million for a 32 year old great player, but he said he never would do something like that!!!!!!! Now we have to believe
That he thinks jf1 is not good enough. You are kidding me????????? Your find dude. Also let Montgomery go for 1 or2 million, idiot. Why has he not gotten rid of Robinson the guy he drafted. He said Venus reminded him of Tyrek hill.
