  1. Your next series or the end
of this series should be Timon with some ancient super soldiers clearing all the mushroom bases

Edit: or you could make a faction that you can call on the comms console to help you during a raid

  2. the five gum ice toilet skit was fucking gold

also, are you sure that getting the deathless gene is going to prevent luci-death? I don't think time will be the issue, irrc you have a few days after the luci withdrawals kick in before they become lethal, it's just random increasingly violent mental breaks until then. I think going for the sealed vaults or maybe on a long trade journey is a safer bet. Other options might be the luciferium production mod by Ushanka (i think their name was) which adds a rather space, cost and infrastructure-intensive method of slowly producing/growing luci. It does somewhat defeat the purpose of Luci in that it gives you a stable source of it once everything is up and running, but considering resources and space in particular are tight in this playthrough, perhaps the costs are high enough to be worth it. Another option is what others have said and you yourself hinted at, an allied group of tech-advanced survivors with positive relations setting up a base not too far from the vault who might be able to sell Luci.

Still, I think your logic with administering Luci to Chef was sound, it is pretty wild you haven't found loads of it with the stuff you've been doing.

  3. i think your too hung up on chef will, when you tried to "save" will with the luci, you did in fact sign his death warrant. He can stay in the cryptosleep casket for a different team to find, in a different time…

  4. The Great Saint Tim, the Great Awakener. Praise be unto him for breaking the eternal dreaming and sending us back unto the waking world. We shall honor him by spreading the Great Awakening across the stars!

  5. Consider what Timon is actually doing

He's "freeing people from their eternal slumber"

In the middle of a freaking apocalypse

    They were safe
    Emphasis on the past tense

Why do you think there are so many complexes with people in cryo?

  6. It's definitely a good idea to line the spaces in between the stone chunks with incendiary IEDS or maybe replace some of the chunks with them and put trenches in the open lines so that the ravenous invaders are slowed down enough that you can get everyone to their battlestations in time.

  7. This series is so good! Also, Timon is undeniably incredibl, but I’m pretty impressed with Banana, who is a 60 year old with a bad back and asthma yet has simultaneously become one of the colonies most important defenders.

  8. Pretty sure in the mod that does allow finishing. You can change the level it's unlocked at. I always remove it cause it never made sense to me, if you're just trying to kill them when they can't fight back it'd not like you need to be competent just shove the blade into the neck.

  9. Deathless will not stop luciferium death. It destroys the brain which kills even the deathless. They won’t even go in a regeneration coma, they’ll just die. It might make sense to just either make a way to get renewable luciferium or tweak the loot tables.

  10. "According to the Rimworld Wiki, the Deathless gene does not prevent perm death by Luci need. In fact, it seems luci need sticks around even with a resurrector mech serum."

  11. I'm a day behind. but I hope you see it.
I'm just curious why not use grenades. Did I miss it? are they like, stupid hard to craft or something? some very directed fire could be helpful
or did you decide to not use them cause it would be too easy
    Yeah you probably did that.
Well. Have some Al Gore Rhythm.
