  1. They are not Native American Indians. They are of African origin. Most likely escaped African slaves that learned the ways of a Native tribes and intermarriage resulted in an admixture. Far more African slaves were taken to South America than the U.S.

  2. They didn't learn Spanish from people that came over in boats. They were taken from Africa to Colombia by the Spanish in slave ships and learned Spanish because of that fact. Most likely then later learned a local American Indian tribes language and lost their original African language.

  3. As a kid I grew up in central africa where locals hadn't seen white ppl before. After the 1st week I had to cut off my long blonde hair because local kids would sneak up on me and pull on it to see if it was real… This was back in the late 80ies…

  5. It's COLOMBIA, NOT ColUmbia. So annoying to see such a gross mistake all over. Columbia is the female personification of the United States. Never seen that lady at the beginning of a movie? That's Columbia pictures and that lady is Columbia. Colombia is a country.

  6. look and there's black people they're black and you're to tell me that they didn't at all even though every single island around up there Jamaica Caribbean's Dominican Republic Puerto Rico Cuba all have an immense amount of black people, Brazil or here to tell me that they weren't already in America in the south, yeah no they were it's a fact only 2% of Africans were enslaved from Africa, why erase their history white devils? Why!!??!

  7. Jesus christ this interview happened so long ago, how many times are people gonna repost these clips? I get that he's one of the few actually interesting guests Joe has had on but at a certain point it just gets annoying.
