I’m not sure about this theory lol, there’s quite a lot that goes against Gregory being an animatronic version of the crying child, like you said about him being killed and bleeding. i can definitely see Michael being Glamrock Freddy though from the lines. But a lot of it seems like a stretch. Man it sucks that the fnaf 6 ending was pointless and meant literally nothing, but it was so good. Gregory is just a Chad tbh, he destroys them and does not care. Happy new year Jonny, hope you feel better from Covid, the first few days are the worst part

  26. Okay here me out. While the theory is a bit of a stretch, It is a good Theory to start on. Remember the FNAF lore is very opened, so we must assume every possibility no matter how outlandish it may be until proven false or true.

    This is a good stepping stone to the the next theory of Vanessa essentially being the second Elizabeth afton as Mat Pat mentioned. And the biggest clue to that is the cd therapist. The therapist talks about Vanessa's "Past" about how abusive her father was and how she was manipulated into letting the father win in the custody battle against the mother who later offed herself after. Why would it tell us this but then later say it was fake? I am undoubtably sure that "fake past" isn't fake at all but Williams past about him having won a custody over Elizabeth and Mrs. Afton later offing herself. Which is why we never see her at all, until you go into the room with all of the sticky notes and where you see the staff bots who are dressed like a family. And the one in front looks almost exactly like Ballora which really solidifies the possibility of Mrs.Afton being Ballora. Now William could have found her body and started to experiment with it.

    Now I am most definitely sure that Williams plan is to have a second Elizabeth, or who can follow him like Elizabeth. If the backstory is right, Elizabeth has been manipulated almost her entire life which is why she is so hellbent on killing to make her dad proud. So since Elizabeth is gone, he needs to hijack someone's mind and tries to get a follower who can be just like Elizabeth. Just Like Mat said Vanessa looks very similar to Elizabeth, with Green eyes and blond hair.

    Their is more that I wanted to right but it's hard to articulate them. But it has to do the relationship of the family as a whole but I already wrote enough.

    So yeah that is my theory, maybe jarring and reaching but that is basically what a theory is.

  28. @18:21 i've seen the Elisabeth = Vanny thing WAY before matpat called it out, Most of this theory is him going with what the "Fnaf community" has already said/theorized prior. IE: super horror bro, dawko, etc.

  30. Ok but why is Elizabeth Vanessa? As I remember before she wanted to make William proud in FNaF 6, is Vanessa even a good person in the first place? Because what we belived to be true was that a person went testing a game and got controlled by Glitchtrap, was that intentional?

    If it is I don´t know why she is a reluctant follower and why she would change her opinion to save her father, maybe because he was really mean and he was making him do everything he wants and he abused her (verbally)

    Just to clarify I don´t like this theory of Glamrock Freddy being Michael and Gregory is a robot, but I got a funny question:

    Even if he is a robot, who build it and why? Was it William in that period that he wanted his son back he made a robot of his son to try to revive him in some way? So then how did he even activated himself and why did he only appeared now? Seems like just a convenience just so the game can give us a beautiful scene of 'Ow, this is really cool the brothers are back and are going to fight Afton hurray'

    But wait, if Freddy is Michael and he eventually recognizes Gregory as his brother why does he EVEN LETS US LEAVE in that bad ending, go child, I know our mother disappeared and dad is evil bunny robot thing but go live under those amazing smelly bridges, you know I would go with you but my systems would shut down saddly 🙁

    Only if he doesn´t realize that is his brother, I don´t know, I don´t like where this is going.

  31. I got a small idea about Vanny. Something that I might throw it in here.

    One of the endings did show Vanessa looking down at Vanny in horror. So if this theory makes sense, it begets the question – where did Vanny actually come from? Unless she happens to be a robot replica of Elizabeth that somehow got corrupted by William in the hard disks.

    Yeah I've heard a lot of other people say this but Freddy being possessed by Michael is definitely possible, I think the line about his friends puts some legs on the theory, but Gregory being a robotic recreation of the Crying Child? I think that's a tad outlandish, even for FNAF. Don't get me started on how Vanessa being Elizabeth could possibly work. I also completely agree with everything you talked about at the end, I just don't think Gregory could be a robot, though I see why people may believe that.
    I do think he made some good points, and although I love the idea from a story-telling standpoint that the three star ending is the gathering of the three Afton children finally at peace, I don't think it's what was intended.
    Also you need to read the god damn books >:)

  33. I’m confused, there’s like 21 pieces of evidence pointing to Gregory being the crying child.. and 20 pieces of evidence proving Micheal is Freddy. I LITERALLY counted— it feels like people didn’t pay attention to what exactly MatPat was saying, he FULLY explained his reasoning to believe this but people call it “too much of a stretch?” Like bro, we just believed that c.c. Was “Evan” even though MatPat literally told us that it wasn’t set in stone, how did we believe that one of the most important characters in the franchise was “Evan” when the only way we found that name was through a silly crossword puzzle— this theory makes a lot more sense and though it seems forced, Scott was planning on retiring even BEFORE he got canceled- so of course his last game would seem quite forced because he tried DESPERATELY to explain how the Afton family was connected to this concept, there is SO MUCH more evidence pointed to the idea that Gregory IS the crying child than there is evidence against it.

    Now Gregory bleeding would be evidence against him being a robot however robot charlie in the Charlie Trilogy also bled multiple times even in the book where she is revealed to be a robot. The books explains that she has fake blood in her and that's the blood the police find in Twisted Ones in the original setting of the silver eyes and while it's assumed to be fake blood from Afton, to keep the idea that Afton faked his death in Silver eyes, it's obvious by the end of fourth closet that the blood they found there was Charlie's fake blood that leaked from a cut made by Foxy.

    TLDR: Gregory bleeding would go against him being a robot but Robot Charlie bleeding shows that it's still completely possible.

  40. I personally love the Freddy = Michael Afton theory. The fact that every time purple guy v1.0 returns to the games, so does v2.0. the line "I always come back." applies to Michael Afton as much as it applies to William Afton.

  44. As much as I love the idea, the theory doesn’t hold up at all if you start to think about it. “Why didn’t Freddy recognize Gregory at the beginning of the game? The bullies are not part of the mci because they’re like 15 years old and none of them are girls, so why would freddy call out his friends at the end? There’s no evidence for him to be friends with the mci. Who built the robots, why would they build them? It couldn’t be William because during the time when vanny was born he would be sealed in a wall getting springlocked.” The theory just doesn’t hold up when you think about it
