  1. Farnham is our National Treasure❤A true legend who is a very recent cancer survivor. You guys should find his Jesus Christ Superstar Performances. …it will make your jaw drop.I’m sure there’ll be someone who has the links to those. This song almost 30 years old …released in 1986😊

  2. Enjoyed your reaction, thank you.

For a brief overview of John, here are some songs to check out,

1990 – Love’s in Need, and Chain reaction (Chain Reaction Tour) also from this concert, another and different version of ‘Help’ – but make sure you watch all the way to the end-

1991- When Something is wrong with my Baby, – with Jimmy Barnes and Diesel (ARIAs or Hey Hey – [don’t worry about the pink ostrich – that’s just Ossie)

1992 – Gethsemane (Live Australian cast)

    1994 – You’ll Never walk Alone – (live 1994)

1996 (from The Main Event) Please Don’t ask Me – with Oliver Newton John, also from same concert – Granada (elevates us to high Art) with Anthony Warlow

    1998 – Burn for you (Live 1998)

1999 –Shout – with Kylie Monogue, (from Tour of Duty)

And if you would like to go back right to the beginning –

1967 a young 17yo John – Johnny Farnham and Zoot- Half Heaven half Heartache (demo record never released ) ‘Sadie the Cleaning Lady’, (the song that started it all for John – and it took him 20 years to get over it!) and In My Room, – ( John also wrote this song )

And for something a little bit different –

Black Dog – (John and the band doing a sound check – no visual )

Only Woman Bleed – (Live from the ‘Talk of the Town’ tour)

A Whiter shade of Pale (recording – no visual)

And just for fun – Old MacDonald had a farm.

  3. Song was written in 1980s about the Cold War, & the nuclear weapons aimed across Europe by Russia & USA. The Berlin Wall came down at the end of 1989.
It'd be a good song for the anti-gun movement in USA now.

  4. Hello Paul. I come from the Netherlands where in some areas people live 7 meters below sea level. In my country, 26% of the population lives below sea level. In this video you can see very well how the Delta Works work in real life. Every time I watch the video it gives me goosebumps. I think you might also find it interesting to see the Delta Works that protect the Netherlands in real life.

Op de Schouders van Reuzen (on the shoulders of giants) – De zes stormvloedkeringen van Rijkswaterstaat (English subtitles). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6AZsikK6zo&t=53s
