Join along as we get rolling back into corn harvest after hoping for both the corn and soil to dry down. With some wet conditions we push through another load of corn. All is well till the 220 has a steering issue and the 7520 comes back to work. Late night of harvest but some acres closer to finishing. Thanks for watching along.

The 1st harvest can be a headache, no matter how much you plan ahead
You blame mother nature but your part of new York was right at normal growing degree units / heat units. You better change something for next year.
We had some Source trials this year on corn and soybeans both. No yield advantage on corn and one field of beans was 1.25 bushel better where there it was applied and the other field it didnโt yield any better than without.
Good luck youโll never have to work on any of my stuff
Dude your luck is like mine if it wasn't for bad luck you'd have none at all just keep at it sooner or later it will come around
Hang in there Duffy. It will all work itself out. You got this!!!!
Just put nuts on the exposed thread.
If that's an airdog lift pump. I have one on my 6.7 cummins. Had a lot of the same problems. It was the relays getting hot and melting on the insides. I called the company and they knew the exact problem. What caused it was where the fuse plugs in was loose and not makin good connection, causing not only the fuse to get hot but also the relays and they would burn up like that
Time to buy a Ford
O man Chris looking back on this year o you have broke a lot of trucks and equipment!
Just go to a local auto parts store and get a new relay there the exact same as a fass one but quarter the price. Iโve had to change my relay befor to acted the exact same
Or for now just undo the feed and outlet on the lift pump itself abd just connect them together for now. A cp4 and cp3 both has a cascade valve that will draw fuel from the tank on its own just donโt beat on the thing
If its snowing or snow on the corn you can combine it just fine but the colder it is the better it will work, around 0 and below is the best the snow will just blow threw and not melt in the combine. Jave combined lots of corn in winter here in northern wi.!
Wasnt all fresh break on that knucle.sure u seen it.
That casting should be replaced on the mx220
You need to sell that pretty junk truck and buy you a reliable cheap gasser
The broken part looks like a typical tie rod end. So HD steering knuckles and torque rods should have some reasonable sources for those parts . You're making progress .
So your always mentioning moisture what are the yields looking like seems like your filling quite a few loads up?
Is there a special reason why you going so slow?
Nice calendar in the shop you should video each month
Youโre jinxed
I use power service anti gel my self.
Been there, tried it. Afraid the JB weld won't last at all. The steel expands and contracts too much. There should be a compression type spacer/spring on that exhaust.
Nice video
Nice to know case use pot metal junk parts
I've run 7700 and 7720 since they were new and still run an OL' 7700 and you sure don't have to listen to me, but especially on the more level ground you can sure move the combine a little faster. Them there 8820 titon II were designed for up to 12 row head. My 7700 run an eight row with no problem and I push the speed. Seems to like it when you let her eat.
Keep doing your thing. Things will workout for. Wishing you the best. Am proud of you. Keep on keeping. ๐๐พ๐พ
You know Chris I really like you
But anything you touch, run or own turns to shit or is shit.
( Only exception 4640 and the 2755 )
Hopefully 2024 is a much better year. MERRY CHRISTMAS ๐๐๐๐
I do believe you have some good yielding corn. Hope you
share the numbers.
In your part of the country
Pretty dumb to run out of
L P . Could freeze pipes in
wall ect. That would be a BIG
BUCK mistake especially in a
nice home like yours ๐ฎ
Keep slogging on Chris
Thanks again for your video
looking at the Mack, could you cut the panel under the door from the green Mack to weld in the place where you cut from red Mack?
Hammer strap, leave the extended threads and put a lock nut on them to keep from being damaged and from backing out.
Sounds like your patch job on the exhaust was holding up at the end of the video.๐
Dang I never noticed how built up the grade had to be to get your driveway in and that it had a stream at the bottom.
I Bought a pack of 5. 30a Fuses the other day and it cost 6 dollars at O'rilley auto parts. Explain to me how those cost one dollar each. I was almost pissed off. lol
I would spend a couple dollars and put a clamp on ball on that steering wheel it will save you a lot of driver fatigue!
I cant imagine how stressful this would be. I was worried you were going to be loosing corn out the back. dont get in such a rush you leave profits behind. I know its easy to get going too fast. you got this man!
Merry Christmas Chris and Yenko, Yโall have a great holiday season๐บ๐ธ๐ช๐ป๐บ๐ธ
Congratulations on getting your 1st crop out!!! I wish I was closer to help.
Duffy it's nice to see the 7520 back out putting in the work
You keep showing the nah sayers that they are full of BS! You are doing great, I am impressed with your success for the year!
Led lights in the harvester have been a great investment.
Not sure about New York state , but no problem running down the road with a 45 ft header attached in Saskatchewan. Great work Duffy, keep the videos comming.
She's hard working woman God Bless ๐ you! And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
Is the furnace in your house a fuel oil furnace?
