In God We Trust is not a logo folks. The Pledge talks about it. In all of our pockets, how can we get our people connected to our Creator? All of us.What it means to them? To others? To you? We can do it for sure, we can doer…
So who actually were the “insurgents” over there? And did we accomplish anything over there? All of this surrounding these wars just baffles the ever loving shit out of me. I need a therapist just thinking about it. Can’t imagine how all the victims feel. At some point people need to stop thinking “I’m just doing my job” and start QUITTING THEIR JOBS.
Camp Courtney 96’ Great year. Got a nasty cut on my finger and rolled into BAS about 1600. New Corpsman in the back pipes up and asked to do the suture because he needs practice. I have a terrible scar. I still laugh when I look at it. God bless Navy Corpsmen.
Went to JWTC (IYKYK) as an Army Air defender in 2015. Watched dudes get wrecked during training and having the Corpsman’s evaluate and help Marines/Soldiers with their injuries was some of the most thorough stuff I’ve seen. Kudos to doc patching up those guys for 27 years.
I'm a medical provider. I'm played ball up the semi-pro level. I also like Jocko as a host very much.
Making comparisons between sports he's not familiar with and being a doctor, and being a SEAL is a respect failure for those who underwent their respective professions.
The level of intensity playing pro sports and the level of intensity and rigor being a medical provider cannot be understated, and shouldn't. I can confidently insist that what a pro football player goes through is hell. The average NFL play is 5sec. Just bc life or death isn't at stake, it's relative life or death to them. If JJ Watt is barreling down on you, w a crowd of 50k, pressure and the like, that's some pressure. Just like what SOF go through, though w different stakes. The stakes are even comparable in some instances.
Med school. I can assure you there's less sleep and more hours out in being a medical provider in training and daily work. In that case, life or death is involved. Imagine having a few friends dying in your presence over 20yrs as a SEAL. It's devastating. Imagine it happening daily but it was your responsibility to save that person you don't know and then explain to the respective family.
Just keep that in mind. This isn't a d-ck measuring contest; it's life and perspective
It’s funny that this is supposed to be the best doc… he’s like yep time for surgery…. He comes back and is fine…. So thank god he didn’t do the surgery right? This is a common story I’m told that up to 99 percent of wellness of life surgeries that’s back neck hips anything that’s not physically broken can heal people just sit around when they are hurt and get worse… not jocko… he didn’t sit around and that’s why he got better
The doctor impressed me so much I want to go out to Vail to give me a second opinion on my torn rotator cuff. And I agree with you Jocko, let’s go FDA. Stem cell therapy is the real deal
👍
This was a great episode. The docs are amazing and getting an insider story is great

This is why I bought the insurance on my “rental car.” It’s gonna need a good cleaning when they get it back. 😂

Professional sports is merely a diversion anymore used as a distraction from the decline of America. The FDA is a joke.
I was on Camp Courtney in 2002. I wonder if we overlapped.

I'm glad Echo is back in time for an episode involving biceps.
Run Jocko Run! I love America too!
Jocko's daughter: "I was just cutting open a cadaver!"

I’m a staunch conservative, neither of you are. But you’d have my vote. A true independent ticket

Jocko for president!!!!!!
Does everyone say good evening or is it just me????
North Carolina was Rebecca. B.J. is a guy with red hair that is her children’s father.
Btw… I’m the cat you are not suppose to be fucking with.
Definitely making Xdefiant my main fps game for the next year.
Sure it’s not perfect but I’d rather support something fresh and new than this bull$hit.
I bought MW2022 cos I was told it would be a 2 year game. Now I’m being told I must pay £70 for the 2nd year of it. Not happening. Enough is enough.
I know me not buying the next COD game won’t make a difference but I’ll feel a lot better about myself
