  1. 4:46 I was at Naarm vs Walyalup a couple of weeks ago with the Walyalup cheer squad, and there was a guy sitting nearby who was visiting from the USA. He was fascinated with the goal umpires and their flags and one of the big things he wanted to watch was the flag waving for each score.

So the flags seem to be attracting fans 😂

  2. I wonder what the breakdown is for viewers of this show and pies fans.

It’s actually pathetic how Eddie can’t help himself when it comes to any issue with the pies.

Does anyone remember the old footy show days? He never used to be like this. Maybe it was once he became president, I don’t know, but it’s impossible to listen to him anymore.

  3. Its 4 weeks Eddie. Stop being biased. He's not going to miss finals and he may come back hungrier. But Eddie is right that the players are just trying to get their footy right from a low base, so flying the flag is just a long way away from their thinking. They're not thinking instinctively.

  4. Bang on assessment from both about the carry on with DeGoey…you’re playing AFL seniors, irrelevant your age. Made a mistake on the field, clearly didn’t intend to knock him out, take the penalty move on.

  5. Degoey went hard for the kid then stood over and staunched him, gaff went for the midsection and the kid ducked. Anyone with eyes can see the differences.

  6. Odd that they compare degoey's bump to gaffs king hit off the ball which is completely irrelevant but what do you expect from a guy working with the biggest pies fan in the country.

  7. Rangers is Melbourne not Carlton. Carlton only wear orange because it’s for the Carlton respects program that promotes gender equality. This has nothing to do with fascist loyalists that follow Rangers. Carlton isn’t a Protestant club. Melbourne is the WASP club.

Carlton represents the Northern suburbs that are part of the Cities of Merri-bek, Hume, and the northern parts of the Cities of Melbourne, and Yarra. Brunswick, and Coburg have always been the heartland of Carlton FC, and these are not Protestant areas. Carlton have always have had a large Italian, Ashkenazi, and Lebanese supporter base, these people are not stuck up WASPS.

I know you hate Carlton, Eddy, but at least be objective.

Rangers is Melbourne. Melbourne represents Melbourne Grammar, the Church of England, the Melbourne Club, Royal South Yarra Tennis Club, Toorak, Malvern, and Armadale. Melbourne is the club of ruling-class. Melbourne is the monarchist club.

If you want to be ideologically pure, you must remember that the fascist Blair Cottrell barracks for Collingwood, and the right wing monarchist Bruce Ruxton went for Collingwood. It’s also been reported that both Tony Abbott, and John Howard follow Collingwood.

  8. if he kicks the goal. I think west coast can will the grand final. Two minutes and just under. Massive. Sheed from the boundary. Needs to be inch perfect and he is. He's got the most impossible goal. Unbelievable the most acute angle in footy and sheed has kicked a remarkable grand final goal.

  9. Eddie had an interesting idea about how the system is narrowed too quickly. And only a few elite have a chance etc. Bartel just didn't get it, as no doubt he had all the preferential treatment in his junior footy. Fact is that some boys don't stop growing until 19 and just aren't able to compete until 21. By then they've lost all the junior development and have to do their own thing to make it. Clubs should think of guys like Leon Baker for instance or Tim Kelly.

  10. Everyone is quick to forget Patty Cripps did a very similar bump to the head and got nothing! Then won the Brownlow because of the lack of a call by the MRP.

  11. I don’t have much of a problem with the De Goey incident, but to say that the bump happened because he only had a split second to react is nonsense. If this was split second stuff we’d be seeing several similar incidents a week. But we don’t! We see about 5 a year. There was nothing split second about it. He preempted his move, he executed and followed through.

  12. Re: Eddie’s new league, give it a game show vibe and showcase the potential of them being drafted in the mid-season or pre-draft.
For eg: top 10 are guaranteed draft spots in mid season?
